Come and join us for our Autumn Table Top Sale, with over 25 sellers, delicious refreshments, face painting, funky hairspray, raffle and lucky dip barrel. The Junior School choir will also be serenading us at 3.15pm.

Come and checkout Leo's Creation Station On Friday at the Autumn Table Top Sale. They will be selling handmade baby hats, bibs and headbands, as well as pet bandanas and bow ties!

We have Little Leo Bear Designs with us on Friday at our Autumn Table Top Sale. Little Leo bear hand embroidery, sells a range of hand stitched items including gifts, Christmas decorations and hair accessories. Each and every piece is unique! Come and meet them at 3.15pm, Junior School Hall, Dinas Powys Primary School on Friday.

Fi’s Creative Creations is a small handmade business selling a wide range of handmade gifts including UKCA Tested soft toys, hats and ear warmers and hair bows!

She have a 5 year old son, in reception & also a 1 year old son.

“I really wanted to join the PA to integrate into the school community. Arlo is my eldest so it’s my first experience of school life and I want to embrace it fully. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone through helping out with the PA. I also hope I can use my professional experience to help raise additional funds for the school.”

"I've joined the PA to get to know the school community better, as well as to raise money to provide all our children with new resources and experiences that will enrich their learning."

Following the first PTA Meeting of 2022 we wanted to introduce the team!

First up…Our Chair Shelley Bellamy.

Shelly is Mum to Maddie (Year 3) and Ada (Reception). She became the chair pre-COVID in 2019.

Her mother-in-law used to teach reception class (the original Mrs Bellamy who may have taught some of you!)

“When my eldest started in the nursery I felt like I really wanted to get involved and be part of the school community, meet more parents and help the school raise money to benefit the childrens' school experience. I started off just helping out at the fetes and events, facepainting, making cakes etc then shadowed the previous Chairs and was vice chair before becoming Chair. Whilst I have been involved we have raised funds for the new stage at the infants, the basketball nets at the juniors and a new speaker system for events.”

Please feel free to reach out to any member of the PTA or DM us on here if you’re interested in attending our next meet-up. You don’t have to commit to a specific role/ amount of time and can duck in/ out as activities pop-up.
