Stepping Out pre-school

We are holding an Open Morning on Friday 2nd September from 10am to 12pm. If you would like your young child to come to a preschool where there will have fun and learn in a safe and welcoming environment. Where children are allowed to use their imagination and become independent little learners, then this is the place for them. Come along and see this lovely preschool and register a place for your child.🙂

The children had great fun re-creating the story 'We're going on a Bear Hunt.' The children got to walk through long wavy grass, create muddy footprints by walking through brown paint in wellies, made leaves and snow as well as blowing bubbles to create the water.🐻🌳💦❄️🚶‍♀️🚶

On Friday we celebrated the Queen's upcoming Platinum jubilee with a tea party. The weather held up and the children got to have the party out in the garden. Great fun was had by all. 🥳🧁🇬🇧

The children made 'salt dough' hand print casts and cards for Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day to all women

The children celebrated World Book Day on Friday 4th, all the children dressed up in their favourite book characters, the manager came as Mary Poppins. We had princesses, superheros, dinosaurs and various animals. A lot of fun was had by all 👸🦹‍♀️🦹🦒🐅🦖

This week we celebrated Chinese New year, the children made Tiger masks and helped to cut vegetables for a stir fry.🐯🐯🥢🥘

We have a vacancy for a Preschool Assistant. The vacancy is Part-Time, around 24hrs per week, on a six-month probationary period, the rate of pay is £9.75 p/h. The candidate will require to have a level 3 in Childcare.
You will require the following skills:
1. Need to have a good knowledge of the EYFS.
2. Regular risk assessments.
3. Level 1 safeguarding.
4. Efficient at tracking children’s progress.
5. Experience of working with SEND children and can support their needs.
6. Have worked with children aged 2-5 years old for at least 3 years.
7. Have had keyworker responsibilities and be able to write reports, 2yr progress checks, clear and specific observations.
8. Plan and cater for differentiating needs.
9. Knowledge of writing weekly, planning sheets.

Excellent communication skills in partnership with parents and other professionals.

The successful candidate needs to be enthusiastic, friendly and be a team worker and also enjoy having fun with young children.

Stepping Out pre-school

Parents of children aged 2-4 yrs who would like to send their child to Stepping Out pre-school are invited to attend our Open Morning on 3rd September from 10am - 12pm. The staff and I look forward to seeing lots of new children 🙂🙂

Stepping Out pre-school Stepping Out pre-school provides an Early Years Education for children aged 2-5 yrs old.
We take all children of different abilities and cultures.

The Manager and staff would like to say a BIG 'Thank You' for all the lovely gifts and cards we received from parents and children who have left and are going into Reception. It has been an absolute pleasure to teach your children and they will be greatly missed by us all. The manager was particularly touched by the message engraved on a keyring. 😘👍

The preschool children had their Graduation ceremony today. The children performed amazingly and we were blessed with wonderful weather. The staff and manager are all very proud of everything you have all achieved. 😊👩‍🎓🧁🎉

The children dressed up for World Book Day, even the Manager came dressed as Alice from Alice in Wonderland. The children listened to lots of stories, including 'The Three Little Pigs' and then created pictures representing the three different houses. Great fun was had by all!! 📚📖

The children have had great fun this week playing in the snow, making snow castles and throwing snowballs at their manager 😄❄☃

The children have enjoyed the start of a new term. We have been very fortunate to see a rare white squirrel in the preschool garden and surrounding area along with other creatures. It has certainly proved to be a real fascination to all of us. 🙂🐿🦋

Parents who are interested in sending their child to this preschool are invited to come along to our Open Morning on 4th September.

The children had their Graduation on Saturday, they all performed so well and the Staff and I are going to miss you all greatly. We're sure you'll do so well in the future and we are all very proud of the independent and confident little people that you've become. 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓🥳

The preschool opened up its doors to all the children today, although it has been good to stay open for a few it was lovely to see children back who haven't been able to attend for 10 weeks. With a few tweaks put in place I'm confident that the children will be safe and happy while still having fun with their friends.🙂 We look forward to seeing more children over the coming days and weeks.

Hi Parents, here is a timetable of activities happening in the half-term at two local children's centres.😃😃

Today we celebrated Chinese New Year, the children got busy making Rat masks, cutting up vegetables for a stir fry, which they got to eat and playing at an activity of red rice, bowls and Chinese numbers. Great fun was had by all the children.🐭🐀🥕🥢🇨🇳

We're back on Monday after the Christmas break. Looking forward to seeing all the children!! 😃😃

This is an established Dance Academy where children get to have fun as well as learning to dance. 🙂

Back to dancing singing and acting this Saturday see you all there at 9am! 🕺🏻💃🎤🎭

Today I celebrated the first year of opening this preschool along with Diwali and Black History. The children had great fun with many parents and a good friend joining us for the celebrations. A big thank you to all my staff for helping the day run smoothly.🎉🥳
