Congratulations to past pupil Daniel Wiffen who set a new European Record in the 800 Freestyle Final & finishing fourth place at the Swimming World Championships in Fukuoka,Japan this week. We are all extremely proud of Daniel.

We’re all getting behind our county this weekend and wish down good luck in Croke Park on Saturday in their Tailteann Club final against Meath.
Remember we were the first Northern County to bring Sam across the border. Can we do the same with the Tailteann Cup !!

Today we said goodbye and thank you to class teacher Miss Caldwell and school secretary Mrs Hamill. We thank them both for their service to our school and their friendship to us all! 👏🏻💐🥰

Good afternoon & Happy Father’s Day to all the daddies in our school. Thank you for everything you do for your families. Also remembering all who sorely miss their dear Dad today. 🙏🏻

Gardening club planted out their bell pepper plants into their raised beds today. They also took some home to continue to care for and grow over the summer! 🫑 ☀️😀

🧸Our teddies were treated very well today. 🤣

We had the last of our school trips today with P3/4 making our way to the Sheepbridge Entertainment Complex for Bowling and Soft Play! 🎳🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️
They had some energy despite the heat! 🌞😎
Great fun was had all round...topped off with delicious food!

🚍 Primary 2 had a wonderful school trip today to Funtastic!

🥳 We played (even the adults🤣), we laughed and we had a lot of fun! Safe to say there were some tired faces on the bus home!
Thank you to Ciaran for helping us today and to our amazing classroom assistant, Mona. A fantastic day was had by all ✨️

It was the turn of Primary 5 and 6 today to have a great school trip, to Infinity !😃
It was a brilliant day, with super fun had by all 😁 ……… even the teachers 😅🤣

🍇🍉🥭In Primary 2, as part of our World Around Us topic of Shops and Shopping we have been looking at and discussing different fruit and vegetables.

Yesterday we looked at the work of famous artist, Giuseppe Arcimboldo, who famously created portraits with fruit and vegetables. The children enjoyed exploring shapes, textures and positioning to create their very own fruit and vegetable masterpieces.🥕🫑🍒

Today, the children tasted lots of different fruit and recorded their opinions. Some fruits were enjoyed much more than others 🍋🫐

Primary 7 had a fantastic school trip in Castlewellan Forest Park with James and Alex from Geology Rocks Adventure. Beautiful walks, bushcraft, paddle boarding and lots of ice cream.
It was a day to remember!
