Brownlow Integrated College was founded in 1973 as Brownlow High School. In 1991, it became the first secondary school in Northern Ireland to convert from a state-controlled school to an integrated school.

BOYS' FOOTBALL SEASON UNDERWAY
Both the Junior and Senior Football Squads kicked off their respective season's this month. The Senior Squad had a tough opener encounter against league favourites St John's College, but an experience that will set them in good stead for future games.
Today the Junior Squad progressed to the next round of the Mid Ulster Cup with a 4-1 win over Markethill HS. Goals from Leandro Dias, Kian Murphy and Jayden Doyle x2. Hughe thanks to Lismore College for allowing us to play on their new 3G at such short notice.

Miss Kerr is very impressed with the level of organisation and hard work that her Yr11 Child Development class put into planning and delivering a Halloween Themed party aimed at children between 3-7 years old. Well done!

Tomorrow, Friday 27th October 2023 is a non- uniform day for all pupils.

On Thursday, some of our KS4 pupils attended an event at the Segoe Hotel to learn about careers in hospitality and tourism. It was an interesting and interactive day which gave us insight into local employment opportunities.

Today, students were tasked to build bridges using only paper which could hold the weight equivalent to a mobile phone, it was a puzzling task yet all teams achieved their goals. We have some engineers in the making in our Personal Success and Wellbeing lessons.
