Traineeship programme delivered here at Learndirect Coventry.
This is wonderful new programme which will be running cohorts of learners every few weeks. We are now looking for learners for our new Coventry Traineeships Centre based at Sutherland House, Matlock Road in Foleshill. Easily accessible from the city centre with buses every 5 mins.
Our Traineeship programme is designed to give learners an opportunity to improve their employability and to increase their Maths and English functional skills. The learner is centre based for the first four weeks of the programme. Upon reaching week five the learner goes on to placement within a company that is within their chosen field of work that they would like to progress within, whilst still attending centre two days a week to complete their functional skills. We have learners between the ages of 16-24.
A Bursary is available for 16-18’s who are eligible, as well as Childcare (Ofsted registered carer) and travel reimbursement. There is no bursary for the 19-24 year olds due to benefit entitlement, but childcare would be covered dependant on eligibility.
