Are you a medical student looking for a fun and unique way to earn money this summer?
Medic Mentor is a not-for-profit social enterprise run by doctors with the aim of inspiring and mentoring future generations.
Our Summer Schools provide support to aspiring medical students from all backgrounds, with the largest Widening Access Summer School in the UK.
As a Summer School Mentor, you will receive £350 per week plus accommodation and food. You will also be awarded a Teaching and Mentoring certificate (a valuable qualification for any upcoming applications and interviews)!
At Medic Mentor, we have the largest scholarship programme for medical students in the UK – worth up to £12,000! Each year, we offer scholarship interviews to Summer School Mentors who have shown engagement and aptitude for our mentoring programmes.
Our Medic Mentor Scholars have an incredible success rate for the Academic Foundation Programme due to our teaching and mentoring from academic doctors. This year, we will offer dedicated AFP teaching sessions for all our Mentors during the Summer School weeks.

Year 4 can be the first year of medical school where you are expected to learn management of conditions. It is also a year where you are covering lots of new and specialist knowledge.
We are a group of junior doctors (F1s and F2s) who have recently graduated, and have organised a set of OSCE teaching sessions mainly focused on the investigations and management of common OSCE topics to help you with this.
Our sessions will be run online via MS Teams.
We will be covering O&G, GP, ENT, ophthalmology, dermatology, psychiatry, paediatrics and HCOLL.

Calling all final years…now that finals are over and you have some more headspace, we would love to introduce you to our 8 session surgical on call course! We will take you through the scenarios you will encounter as a junior doctor on a surgical on call and how to go about tackling them. The course curriculum has been developed and will be delivered by two current junior doctors, Tamara Searle and Marta de Andres Crespo.
