POSTPONEMENT (and new CFP):
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the passing of Professor Gerald Gaus, the Workshop ‘From the individual to the public: workshop on reasons and democracy’ has been postponed to the 10th and 11th of June 2021.
The call for papers remains open until the 14th of March 2021 (see CfP here: https://fipworkshop.weebly.com/).
By postponing the workshop, our aim is to try to host the event in person, at the University of Warwick, as initially planned. We remain nonetheless committed to guaranteeing the health and safety of everyone involved. As such, if the conditions imposed by the Covid pandemic extend to the Spring of 2021, we will move the event to an online model.
We would also like to write a few words on the news of Professor Gaus’ death last August, which we received with sadness. His work was, and will continue to be, an influence and inspiration to all of us. We wish to express once again our condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
