Such a busy week this week!! We have been bouncing around at Kinderland Party, made watermelon wedges and salad sticks, held stick insects and made elephants at Cre8fun Community Cafe, we played football, and practicing getting onto our feet and working together

Today we ran an errand to the post office and then tried out a new stay and play which the children absolutely loved!

Water play to cool us down this afternoon with ice lollies as a treat!!!

Today we went to Little Lane Play Village with our friends and kept nice and cool. We were pretending to be police officers, made some cakes, did some shopping and did some building.

We made some yummy sunshine wraps at Cre8fun Community Cafe this week. Using lots of colourful veggies and salad, we cut our veggies up and created a lovely wrap and also were very grateful for the paddling pool t9 cool us down

We have been making cards for fathers day for our super daddies. We picked our colours gor our rockets, we talked about all the shapes we were using. We glued and stuck our shapes down, copying an example (with a little bit of help) and then stuck our sticky stars on using our fine motor skills. We then did a special finger painting to go with it.

This week we have been bouncing, climbing and working together to build towers at Kinderland Party

Today we went to Cre8fun Community Cafe and made yummy jammy and cheesy pastry wheels and twists. The children thought they were very tasty. We also learnt about brushing our teeth and had a practice

Chalk obstacle course, hopscotch, and geometric chalk patterns.

Today we looked after the guinea pigs, we gave them lots of cuddles and yummy treats

Lovely day out to Warwick park! We did lots of climbing, running and jumping. We managed to have a go on the train whilst singing 'down at the station', we saw some ducks and swans and their babies and had lots of singing opportunities and we watched the boats whilst we had our picnic. We talked about what we could see and hear and had lots to talk about when we got home

The weather is so lovely we were so excited to be outside, water play kept the children happy for hours, we gave babies a bath, we washed the cars, watered the plants and used all the different bits and bobs to scoop and pour water.

We have had such a busy morning going on a mini beast hunt. We found nearly all the bugs on our list!. We found ladybirds and snails, bees, woodlouse, wiggly worms 🪱, creepy spiders 🕷. We checked them off our lists by matching the picture to what we had found.

Then for World bee day on Saturday we talked about how bees make honey and we watched a bee collect some pollen. 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵

We then planted some sunflower seeds 🌻 to watch grow and plant in our gardens at home for the bees and we planted some yummy wildflowers for them too so they can carry on making our yummy honey. We scooped the soil, poked holes and put our seeds in and then added some water to help them grow. We will watch them over the next few weeks and hopefully be able to plant them in the garden.

We have had such a buzzzzzy morning at Cre8fun Community Cafe.
We made potions!
We made some sticky stretchy slime, we shook all the ingredients into our bowls and them mixed it all up with some funky colours.
Went on a minibeast hunt with our detective magnifying glasses 🐜🐝🪲🐞🦗🕷🐌🦋🐛🪳🕸
We made a bug lunch using knives to chop the vegetables and we put them outside for the bugs to nibble on and used our detective skills to spot the bugs that munched on the vegetables 🥒🍅🥬🥕🫐
We also made some buzzy bees 🐝 🐝

Kinderland Party today we had fun bouncing and climbing, we also met Rubble!!! We are learning to work together and finally managed a sunny garden afternoon 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

This week we have been working on playing together and working collaboratively. We have also been burning energy at soft play whilst developing our climbing and risk taking skills.

Today we used our fine motor skills to decorate some crowns ready for King Charles' coronation. We had a trip to the park to burn off some energy and then we had our afternoon coronation tea

Kinderland Party this morning we went to a Coronation Party and had afternoon tea. We also got to meet Cinderella!!!

Today we ventured out to soft play at Kinderland Party. The children had a lovely time on the bouncy castle and climbing on EVERYTHING!

So happy we managed to get out in the garden today!!! Even managed to get onto the grass. Drawing shapes with chalk, looking for cars, playing football, and working together on the seesaw
