Creative Willow

Today we are at a nursery school called Country Mouse in Midhurst. Making a small living willow dome in the garden. We shall be working with small groups of pupils throughout the day. The weather is a bit drizzly but not cold!

Dropping in at Musgrove Willows in Western Zoyland to pick up a lot of willow for our living and craft projects this season. Lovely family business. Great to see Ellen, Mike, Jack & Violet.

Our final day at Buckingham Park where we are finishing off our willow and hazel structures. The weather could be better!

We are at Shoreham this week installing a living willow dome and other structures at Buckingham Park. Thankfully the sun is out and on our backs.

We were at Shepherd’s Down special School near Wi******er today working with small groups of pupils planting a living willow tunnel and making shooting stars, bird feeders and cat faces at the craft table. A lovely day and great staff who looked after us. The weather was kind thankfully.

Today we are finishing the rejuvenation work in Rogate Primary School pond. It’s been a very busy few days getting everything prepared. The pupils have been working with us every step of the way .

Tiday I’m at the Florence Road fun day in Chichester. Lots of activities for children. Come along and have some fun!

We are at Buckingham Park in Shoreham today working with visitors for Beat the Street campaign. We are teaching people how to make shooting stars, bird feeders, dream catchers and fish.
Come and join us 10 till 12 today. Then 2 - 4 at Victoria Park.

The heart of a good garden... Compost bins! Just got to get the manure bagged up now!

We had a fabulous day at Bracklesham Barn with Heartspace Katrina and Geoff who fund raised for us to install a living willow Dome for the local Community a great day had by all.

This morning we are nice and local at Bracklesham barns. We are installing a willow dome with Heartspace who have organised the funding and we will be working with local people.

Here we are again at cliffdale & the willows nursery Portsmouth doing the maintenance in the environmental garden. We can see tadpoles in the pond!

The willow prayer labyrinth is completed at Rogate School. We’ve had a great week and our thanks to Father Edward of St Bartholomew’s church and all staff and pupils at the school.

Third day at Rogate school. We are finishing off the labyrinth and living willow cross. All fruit trees are planted.

This week we are at Rogate school near Petersfield this week working with the pupils. Planting a fruit orchard and a willow labyrinth.

Ganesh was at the old Olympic park in East London installing a living willow tunnel on Friday. It had its challenges being a building site but job completed!

Our living willow Arbour one year on at Horseferry Park near the Houses of Parliament today as I find up to London for a social engagement.

Today we are at Rogate Primary school and working with the whole school to weave a cross with willow. Each child will be making a willow prayer star. Lovely day to be weaving outside.

Completed willow dome at Petersfield Infant School. Had a super 3 days and the sun just kept on shining! Lovely pupils and staff. Made charcoal out of willow with them as well as bird feeders, snails, vases, cat faces, living willow pencils and stars.
