🥾🌳 What a contrast to last week’s weather for our walkers. No coats needed today ☀️!
👏 Well done all! A great walk up the Lawley, taking in the wildlife.
🐑 We saw sheep, a highland cow, a kestrel, badger sets and a toad that was nearly trodden in on 😬. We hope you all enjoyed it.

At Whitgreave, in Years 1-6, we use the online platform Learning With Parents rather than paper homework diaries.
You should receive a link each week (it is the same one, so you can reuse the same link time and time again), to upload pictures, videos or a written message about your child's reading at home.
Please aim to record your child's reading every day - as mentioned, it could just be a picture! We cannot wait to see our children reading at home!
🌳 Well done to our new Year 5 walking group, who complete their first walk up the Wrekin. The children have already started to develop and use mapping skills to navigate 🗺️.
👏 A fantastic effort by all. You didn’t let the heavy rain stop you. We hope you enjoyed your time in the clouds.

🍽️😋 Lunchtime prizes to be won! 🎁
⭐️’WHERE’S THE PRIZE’ is our lunchtime initiative that takes place once per half term.
It is a great opportunity for your child to win a prize at lunch time by having a school meal.
Before the start of lunch, stickers will be placed randomly on the bottom of several plates, ready for service. If your child checks the bottom of their plate and they have a sticker, they are a WINNER! They will receive a prize from Mr Edwards - it’s that simple!
Where’s the prize will be happening this Friday!!
Free to attend, all welcome.
What a fantastic evening celebrating our amazing Year 6 🪩!
🏴 Our pupils have got together to send you all a message! 🦁 🦁 🦁 👕 🏴 COME ON ENGLAND!!!
🏴⚽️Pupils are welcome to wear an England shirt or red & white tomorrow, to celebrate the football final.
If pupils do not wish to wear an England top or red/white, please send them in uniform (or PE kit if it is their PE day), as normal.
Thank you.
