From "The Wigan Hold". Here is Rileys gym, in the mid 1980s, where Roy Wood is coaching. In the late 1970s, after Billy Riley retired, Roy received the honour from Billy to keep the gym running. And whilst Roy coached, Billy Riley would also mentor him, sitting on a chair at the side of the mat. Great night at the Snake Pit World Championship. Watched some truly world class wrestlers in some great bouts. Lovely atmosphere too.

I competed in the Super Heavy Weight division against some good lads. Faced Michael Van Der Edwards in the final - always a tough wrestle against a smart wrestler. Pleased I managed to get the belt.

Many thanks to Roy Wood for coaching me and Andrea Wood for the months of organising needed to make the competition happen (and many other people who put time in on the night).

I certainly noted over the years those that call themselves masters and do more sitting in chairs than actual honest training are usually more concerned with their wallet and false superior identity than actually having real skills.

This is a good youtube video explaining a bit more about why you should breath through the nose where possible. This practice is not esoteric or culturally limited nor exclusive to Kung Fu and Qigong but simply correct use of your body.
