Our Story
Welcome to Melodies Music School
My earlier years as a scholar at the Royal College of music were structured and informative but strangely joyless. My professors were of course brilliant but I found them rather insular and there was little recognition of me as a musical individual !
Welcome to Melodies Music profile page. When I established Melodies Music in 1998 all I wanted to do was create an inviting and encouraging studio in which children and adults could share my enthusiasm and passion for music and learning the piano.
My intention at Melodies was to gather a small team of "special" people who could not only structure and successfully teach but recognise the truly individual qualities of their students. At Melodies we are able to inspire our students no matter what their ability.
Music is a therapy and a language we can all reach out for and share and it has the power to connect us all.
Put simply our success is your enjoyment and your enjoyment will motivate your own success.
One day I hope we will meet and perhaps have the privilege of guiding you on your black and white journey!
