For world book day, the children all dressed up as animals from the story 'What the Ladybird Heard'. They also enjoyed going down to Manor Grove farm to find the animals from the story, and to have a look at the fine prize cow. The children also enjoyed watching the sheep having their lunch and saw lambs that were just a few hours old.

World books day!

Last week several parents came into nursery and we all had a busy fun day creating puppets and the scenery for the story of Gruffalo. Yesterday to celebrate world book day the children enjoyed popcorn as they watched their perfomance on the television.
Below is our Gruffalo movie for you to enjoy at home.

Honey biscuit recipe

16/01/2014

Yesterday a few children made honey biscuits. Peter told the other children all about where honey comes from, and demonstrated his skills in cracking an egg. While the other children demonstrated thier skills in weighing out the ingredients and sieving. Evie was very good at mixing ensuring all the ingredients had combined together. Then the children worked out how many bisciuts they would need to make for each member of their family.
We then shared the spare biscuits with our friends and everyone agreed that they were delicious.
We have uploaded the receipe, so that you can make them at home.
