11+ Masterclass - Three-day event in August 2022

It’s aimed at children in year four or year five at school, and it doesn’t matter if your child has or hasn’t been exposed to the 11+ content beforehand.

The 1-3 Aug workshop is now full, and the 22-24 Aug one is almost full. There are a few spaces left in the others.

This can be face-to-face, online, or hybrid (a mix of both).

Ideal for current clients to change slots, or for new clients to come on board.

Tuition can be for KS2 Maths and/or English; common entrance exam prep (including for the 11+); or GCSE English and/or Maths. Please note that I accept children in years 3, 4 and 5 for 11+ tuition.

11+ MOCK EXAMS - EVERYONE WELCOME

I will cover exam technique and exam structure, and then the children will sit a full 11+ mock exam, in exam conditions.

Parents will be emailed their child’s feedback, along with information in relation to their child’s focus areas, on the evening of 08/04.

To answer a few queries coming in, I’m currently fully booked, and can no longer accept any more tutees with a September 2022 start date. My list for a September 2023 start date is now open, so please send me a message if you wish to enrol your child. Thank you!

Updated terms and conditions, with effect from 07/01/22 onwards: Failure to pay an invoice within the week-long timeframe, and after one further reminder, will result in an additional 50% being added to the invoice. Failure to pay this within a further two days will result in the tuition space being released. Additionally, four lesson cancellations within a six-month period - with no particular reason - will result in the tuition space being released.

As of 17:00 today, I will be on annual leave until 02/01/22. Emails and messages already received will be responded to by 17:00 today, and any others sent will be replied to in January. To answer a few common enquiries: I am fully booked until Sept 2022, and yes you can add your child’s name to my waiting list - just message me with their full name, the year group they’re in at school currently, and any specific days/times you’d like their tuition for. I’ll look at my September availability upon my return, and get back to you then. I wish all my clients a great Christmas, and I’ll see you in the New Year 🎄

I opened my emails tonight to find so many tuition requests! After working through them, I now have children on my waiting list for as far in the future as Christmas 2025!

Back in 2017, when I decided to leave my pretty well-paid job in a school, I was taking a huge gamble. I knew I needed to make a success of this business, but I never dreamt I’d make it what it is today.

After four years of working hard to establish Engenius Tuition, in order to get it recognised in Buckingham and the surrounding areas, I now have over 30 children on my books, and many, many more on my waiting list… all from word of mouth 🙏🏼

I absolutely love what I do - there’s no better feeling than giving a child the confidence to believe they can achieve anything they set their mind to ⭐️

Due to self-isolation because of COVID, I have two spaces in next week’s 11+ Masterclass. It runs from 16-18 August (Mon-Weds), from 10:00 until 13:00, at Thornborough Village Hall (MK18 2DF). The cost is £275 per tutee, payable in advance, with this price inclusive of the mock exam. Monday is VR and English, Tuesday is NVR and Maths, and Wednesday is the mock exam. Message ASAP if you or someone you know would like a place. The Masterclass running from 23-25 August remains fully booked. Thanks!

… and getting organised for my next 11+ cohort starting 📚 All of my 11+ tutees follow a set schedule that I’ve put together for them, to ensure there’s enough time for all exam skills and techniques to be taught and understood. This rucksack equips them with everything they need to bring to their lessons with me, whilst also supporting their independent work at home 💜

We will cover VR and English on day one, NVR/Spatial and Maths on day two, and a full mock exam on day three. Perfect for current Y4 or Y5 children, with or without previous 11+ knowledge. As life goes back to some kind of ‘normal’, I’ve had lots of clients asking about whether I’ll be tutoring online or face-to-face, upon my return. Well, the choice is yours. Please rest assured that your child’s tuition can be online or face-to-face (or a mix of the two), with complete flexibility on this. It makes absolutely no difference to me or my teaching - or to your child’s learning - whether your child is physically in the same room as me or not, and prices are no different. With this in mind, if one week you can’t get to me on time and need the lesson to be online, it’s no issue - just let me know as soon as you know. Please note that your child will need access to FaceTime/Whatsapp video, an iPad (or similar), and a stylus, in order for their lesson to be able to take place online. Many thanks!
