The CAF Resilience Fund is focused on those communities hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. We're thrilled that Autism Early Support have the support to continue their amazing work into 2022!
Inspiring visit to Autism Early Support at The Circle Centre in Middle Claydon earlier today to meet with new Chief Executive Sarah Sweet-Rowley and see first hand the excellent work they do for children with autism or communication difficulties.
Formally known as The Puzzle Centre, the whole staff of this centre do incredible work with children and their families, really making a difference to lives.

WANTED: APPLES!
We are thrilled to be teaming up with Grace from Happy Little Eaters to be a drop-off point for anyone with spare apples to donate this autumn! Grace is collecting apples from people’s gardens to then turn into bottled juice. All proceeds from the sales of the juice will be going to help families in need to have access to more fresh produce using independent businesses in Leighton Buzzard. Stopping food waste, supporting our community and working with other independents: it’s everything we love at The Good Life Refill and we hope you’ll love it too!
Last year, Grace managed to raise over £6,000 for local charity Autism Early Support, so as you see, there is lots of money to be raised by all this windfall!
If you have apples to donate or know of anyone that does, please drop them to us whenever you are next passing and we will sort the rest!
Both cooking and eating apples are welcome. A bit of insect damage is okay as all the apples are washed and sorted. When picking apples, they should easily twist off the branch without resistance when they’re ripe and ready.

We’ve put a link to this in our bio too.
If you have any questions, drop us or Grace a message!
And please spread the word so we can stop food waste & help those that need it.

Overwhelm in SEN children/adults
Autism Early Support
Today we delivered online Safeguarding training for our members Autism Early Support. We joined their return to term session with 23 staff members who attended Safeguarding Essentials as their scheduled refresher training.
Joined by the support of staff at the nursery we worked together to make the session scenarios and content bespoke for an early years focus. Great to hear about the incredible work they do and the robust processes in place to safeguard children attending their setting.
Online training remains available for our member organisations, for further information please contact
[email protected].
Alternatively, individuals from members organisations can register their interest for the next open session.
