We have course options for 2 or 4 days based at the NsK offices in Stevenage.

In our hands-on course we will be teaching advanced horizontal and vertical bone grafting as well as soft tissue regeneration techniques, it is the course to help you take your own work further! And after completing our CPD approved course you will be part of the Asha Club, which gives you access to continued learning, mentoring and support!

Never Stop Learning Because Life Never Stops Teaching!!

Learning comes in different forms. Reflective learning from our own mistakes and challenges are fundamental steps to achieving excellence in practice.

I treated this gentleman 8 years ago replacing the UR2 with an implant! The same patient returned to me for a fractured and non restorable UL2.

Before I realised it was my work, I looked at the UR2 and started to criticise what was not good ...then the patient said he was over the moon with the outcome and that’s why he was back to see me for this UL2 treatment too.

Lesson learned: Stop criticising others or our own work - reflect and learn from each other and from your own work instead. We all start from somewhere and may not be the best at that time, but continued learning, understanding the biology, and developing skills will lead us to be the best clinicians.

I found that upper laterals are harder to treat, particularly with a thin buccal wall and thin bio-type. By using BENEX for extraction and GBR technique with Bio-oss collagen block, CTG to increase the Bio-type, Dentsply Ev implants and Atlantis abutment - has given a better outcome when compared to his UR2.

Let’s see what the next 8 years have to teach me. 🙏😊

This gentleman was referred to us with missing LR 4-7, he presented with both hard and soft tissue defects.

After careful assessment and treatment planning, I decided to use the Sausage technique.

Materials: Autogenous bone, bio-oss, bio-gide, Dentsply Astra Ev implants, Meisinger master pins.

Bone graft and implants placed simultaneously. Soft tissue from palate to increase thickness and KT.
