Thanks to the generosity of donors, our sensory room has undergone an upgrade.

New interactive sensory equipment has been installed which will provide our young people with a calm and relaxing space.

Among the new equipment is a musical vibrating waterbed, deluxe sound and light interactive panel, an infinity panel, bubble columns, fibre optic curtain and a magic carpet.

Students will be able to benefit from this fantastic resource for many years to come.

Thank you to all who contributed to this project including The Peter Harrison Foundation, The Boshier-Hinton Foundation, The Lawson Trust, Whitehead Monckton Charitable Foundation, Ian Askew Charitable Trust, The Carmela & Ronnie Pignatelli Foundation and Dataquest.

This Sunday, Les Franklin will be stepping on to the start line at the TCS London Marathon.

With three London Marathons under his belt, he is no stranger to the course, but is taking on the challenge this year after winning a place in the ballot.

Les has pledged to support the college by donating any funds that he raises as a way of saying thank you for the support his daughter has received.

Chelsea is in her final year at Nash and Les said: “Being at Nash has been good for Chelsea. She has been happy at college, she has come a long way and learned a lot, she is more independent, she is making choices and doing what she wants to do.

“If I can raise a little bit of money it would be nice to give a little back to say thank you."

We are truly grateful to Les for choosing to support the college in this way and wish him the best of luck for race day. If you would like to support Les, visit
