Allowing children to write for fun without worrying about spelling and punctuation, is so important. I spend so much time teaching SPAG I sometimes forget to just let them write.

My students laugh about how much I remind them to use column headers when working. Yesterday we started ÷ and x by 100 & 1000 and they couldn't believe how much easier it was using this grid to do it.
