Hi everyone!
BSMS Anaesthetics Society are looking for our 2021/22 committee! We have the following positions available (please see below for role descriptions):
- Year 2 Rep
- Year 3 Rep
- Intercalation Rep
- Year 4 Rep
- Year 5 Rep
- Social Media Rep
- Welfare & Inclusivity Rep
We have many exciting anaesthetics/acute care-focused events planned for this year, including teaching events, practical skills sessions and career talks. We are looking for keen individuals who can help us revive the society and organise events for all years to enjoy! 💛

*Role descriptions*
Year 2-5 Reps: Responsible for disseminating information to their year groups via shout outs, group chats, social media and word of mouth. Responsible for assisting planning and running of events, and being present at termly meetings.
Social Media Rep: Responsible for maintaining the society’s social media, including Facebook and Instagram pages. Responsible for assisting planning and running of events, and being present at termly meetings.
Welfare & Inclusivity Rep: Must consider the welfare of committee and other members of the society. Must consider accessibility in the events held by the society. Responsible for liaising with the MedSoc Inclusivity Rep and BSMS to ensure institution is anti-discrimination, and attend inclusivity committee meetings, respond to inclusivity surveys and support anyone in the society facing discrimination. Responsible for assisting planning and running of events, and being present at termly meetings.
