Last night we welcomed the classes of 2022 and 2024 into school to celebrate their hard work and dedication that led to an amazing set of GCSE and A Level results in the summer! We are incredibly of their achievements! 🤩

We were delighted to be joined by our guest speaker, alumni Chris Billam-Smith, who inspired us with his ‘consistency builds success’ message. A huge thank you to Chris!

of our KS3 students! Today we took time to reward our students that are always doing their very best with our REACH Reward events. 🤩

Our beautiful Christmas trees kindly donated by Haskins Garden Centre have brought us much festive cheer but now we are at the end of term we are wondering if there is a charity, hospice or nursing home who would like them so they can be enjoyed for the rest of the festive period. 🎄

They would need to be picked up by lunchtime tomorrow when the school closes for Christmas.

We have lots of PE kit in our lost property at the moment. Mr Goldsmith has left it in student reception. Please have a look if you have lost anything!

Last Friday some of our Y9 and Y10 dance students enjoyed a fabulous day in London!

The day began at the iconic Pineapple Dance Studios where students took part in dance workshops led by cast members of And Juliet the musical.

There was just time for a quick spot of Christmas shopping in Covent Garden before heading to the Shaftesbury Theatre to see the amazing show "& Juliet".

Thank you to everyone at Pineapple for making us feel so welcome and giving our students such a great experience! And thank you to Miss Barr and Mrs Adams for organising the trip. 🤩🎼🕺🍍

We are excited to be supporting the Children UK 's again this year!

On the last day of term students who wish to participate will be able to wear a festive jumper in place of their school jumper and donate £2 to Save the Children.

Some of you may have noticed the PE department have been doing their bit for to raise awareness for men's physical and mental health as well as try and raise some money for a great cause. 🥸

Tomorrow, we have our student vs teacher penalty shootout taking place in Block A sports hall at lunchtime. Students will be able to pay 50p to take a penalty against a PE teacher of their choice and if they score, they will win a prize! 💥

This year we are once again working with the Christmas Hamper Appeal, in partnership with Citygate Church and Bournemouth Foodbank to provide hampers to Bournemouth families in crisis over the Christmas period.

We are encouraging students to bring in one food item from the list below:

• Pasta sauce (500g jar)
• Curry sauce (500g jar)
• Tinned sweetcorn (340g tin)
• Dried rice (500g packet)
• Instant coffee (100g jar)
• Crisps/savoury snacks (150g packet)
• Fruit juice – long life (1 litre carton)

To get involved, please bring your item/s in between Monday 28th November – Friday 2nd December!
