Our quiz team really enjoyed attending the Big Quiz at AFC Bournemouth last night.

The event which involved a silent auction and raffle as well as a quiz was raising money for Life Education Wessex & Thames Valley.

Life Education Wessex & Thames Valley is a fantastic charity which helps to effectively communicate healthy lifestyle messages and empower children aged 3-13 with the knowledge, skills and self-confidence to make positive healthy decisions and stay safe in schools across the area.

Caroline and Harold were pleased to welcome members of The Rotary Club of Odiham and Hook to observe their workshops with pupils at Hook Junior School. The Rotary Club support school with funding for the visit and the Rotarians were interested in how the workshops have been adapted for classroom delivery and the impact that they hold for the pupils.

Our fantastic Dorset based Educator, Katie Barnett, has been recognised for her great and valuable services to the community over the last twenty years by The High Sheriff of Dorset, Michael Dooley.

Katie was presented with the award, on behalf of the High Sheriff, by Felicity Hedger a Trustee of Life Education Wessex & Thames Valley at Upton Junior School this week; together with ‘Harold’ their famous giraffe puppet and children who had just completed a Life Education workshop that morning.
