Amazing work Year 6!!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Year 6 Apprentice Project today. We would like to thank everyone who contributed in so many ways to make this entrepreneurial event so successful. As a team, we are incredibly proud of the Year 6 children's effort, team-work, resilience and positivity. Subtracting their business loans, the children raised £2147.97! This means every child in Year 6 will have a leavers' hoodie and the leavers' BBQ is all paid for. What an amazing success!

Enjoy the photos of our future entrepreneurs, including the video of our grand total reveal!

Year 4’s Wild and Wonderful Adventure at Hindleap Warren! We hope you enjoy some of the photographs uploaded below.

Earlier this term, our Year 4 children embarked on their much-anticipated residential trip to Hindleap Warren – and what an incredible few days it was! The coach journey was full of excitement and anticipation and, after a warm welcome from the staff, our children quickly settled into their rooms and jumped straight into their first adventures.

From high ropes and climbing towers to shelter building deep in the woods, every activity pushed our children to challenge themselves; build resilience and grow in confidence. One of the real highlights was seeing how supportive and encouraging the children were toward one another – a true reflection of our School Values in action!

The Forest Adventure was definitely a firm favourite (and the muddiest moment of the trip!), with both children and adults embracing the outdoors with energy, laughter and very muddy smiles! Evenings were just as special and jam-packed – with delicious dinners, time to unwind, evening walks and a visit to the infamous tuck shop.

We couldn’t be prouder of how Year 4 represented Knaphill School. Their enthusiasm and positivity made this residential a truly memorable experience! Year 4, thank you for the wonderful memories!

What an incredible week for Year 6!
We have been extremely proud of the positivity and resilience children showed towards theirs SATs tests; they could not have put more effort into these. The children have benefitted from a week of VIP treatment before, around and after their SATs: the PTA kindly supported us with funding a daily pre-SATs breakfast club as well as pizza for the post SATs celebration. Thank you to our PTA!
Today, Year 6 have had their first read-through of their production script - we are already so excited to get stuck in with rehearsals! This afternoon, they were treated to a Golf Experience on the field. This was organised and run by the wonderful Vikki Zeila and supported by volunteers including members of the local community, Year 6 parents and the Golf Foundation, as well as school staff. Thank you to everyone who helped- the photos show how much the children loved it!
Have a fantastic, relaxing weekend Year 6 - you deserve it!

Wishing our wonderful Year Sixes the best of luck in their SATs tests next week!

However, although SATs are important, they only assess a very small part of who the children are and we are already so incredibly proud of each and every one of them.

We hope Year Six have a relaxing and well-deserved weekend and look forward to seeing them for our chilled-out breakfast on Monday morning!

What a week we had on our year six residential to Stone Farm! We were spoilt with the most beautiful sunshine and Devonshire countryside - the perfect backdrop for so many magical memories to be made.

The children enjoyed so many new experiences this week with their infectious energy and positivity: from showing kindness and care to all the Stone Farm animals; breaking rocks and exploring underground mine shafts at Morwellham Quay; experiencing everything the National Marine Aquarium had to offer; and grasping every opportunity to have fun with friends throughout the week.

We are so proud of our children and hope you enjoy reliving their experiences (and photos below!) with them.
