ADDITIONAL TALK!!!
We are aware that our Beverley talk at the Treasure House on Weds 26th July at 14.00 - 16.00 - Speaking the landscape: the road to Hull's Beverley Gate in 1642 has booked up very quickly and there is now a waiting list.
In view of this, Barbara and I have arranged to give an additional session at 10.00 a.m. the same day to ensure that those of you who have not been able to secure a place, but wish to come may have the opportunity to do so.
The talk at the Hull History Centre tomorrow afternoon is on a first come first served basis.
The reserve a place for the morning talk in Beverley on 26th, please call the Treasure House on 01482 392790. We do not hold any tickets ourselves and cannot make reservations; these must be made directly with the TH.
We hope those of you who have been in touch about this and those of you who were planning to book will not now be disappointed.
We look forward to seeing you at one of the three talks

Dear Chapters and Verse Friends,
We are developing our programme for 2016 and are pleased to share with you our new course of ten classes - '1000 Years' - in which we will explore texts relating to the East Riding from Bede (AD700s) to Winifred Holtby (1936).
Also planned are a series of monthly lectures by Margaret to mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, some of which will be linked to live screenings of the plays in local cinemas.
Further details of these and other events together with times and venues will be posted shortly.
We would like to thank all of you who have shared our Chapters and Verse experiences in 2015. We hope you have enjoyed these as much as we have enjoyed sharing them with you.
We look forward to welcoming new friends and old in 2016.
Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and successful New Year.
