SATURDAY MORNING DANCE & DRAMA ⭐️
Great to see these little faces having such fun today ⭐️
Our little dancers enjoy an introduction to ballet, tap and jazz. They work towards performing in two shows a year, and an annual exam.
Pictured are our students who were each awarded DISTINCTION in the end of year Performing Arts Exam. We are so proud of them! ⭐️
They will now start working on either their Jazz or Music Theatre Dance exam.
Our Little Theatre Group is also on a Saturday, and is an ideal class for little performers who love to sing and dance.
Starting at age 3, students will enjoy drama games, confidence building exercises and learn little dramatic extracts from their favourite stories ⭐️
Saturday classes are designed to be fun filled, with a focus on expressing yourself in a safe and supported environment ⭐️

BELFAST ACTING CLASS UPDATE
EXCITING NEWS!
Acting classes for young people and adults to be held at ULSTER UNIVERSITY in Belfast.
We have been working hard to devise a training course based on Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Central and Trinity College London syllabuses.
Following on from the success of our Belfast Acting for Screen classes which were held at our office in Botanic Avenue, we have branched out and are excited to reveal that classes will now be held at the Belfast Campus, Ulster University.
Throughout the first two terms, you will follow rigorous training in acting, which will concentrate on the core skills of voice, body, acting and creative interpretation. The principles of study derive from pragmatist methods; particularly the techniques of Stanislavski, Uta Hagen and Meisner.
The range of classes across the first two terms will include screen technique; this will essentially examine the distinction between screen and live performance. It will also cover visual storytelling, shooting contemporary scenes from television and film, and the preparation of different styles of work, including soap, drama and comedy.
There will be a focus on relaxing and working with ease, developing the imagination, identifying personal habits and creating believable performances.
Voice and dialect classes will encourage an understanding of the voice as an instrument and will work with a variety of texts including poetry, classical and contemporary material.
Through taking classes students will learn how to effectively approach sight-reading, text analysis, casting and mock auditions led by guest tutors including casting directors, actors and directors.
In the final term we will work on Professional preparation, which will involve guidance on selecting photographs, working on showreel material, writing CVs, self-marketing and online promotion.
To find out more information on how to sign up for one of the classes, please email [email protected]

Welcome back to our team Anna Murphy ❤️
Anna has graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School with a BA (Hons) degree in Acting.
We are delighted to announce that Anna will be rejoining our teaching team for the new term.
Anna appeared as ‘Young Much’ in the graduate production of ‘Robin Hood and Marian’ in the Redgrave Theatre, Bristol.
Professional credits include The Man Who Invented Christmas (feature film) appearing as ‘Tara/The Ghost of Christmas Past,’ ‘The Bully’ short film) appearing as ‘Alison,’ ‘At Water’s Edge’ (BBC TV drama) appearing as ‘Chloe.’
Prior to training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Anna attended The Shelley Lowry School since age 3.
Anna was taught by incredible voice coaches from BOVTS and has nurtured a relationship with them whereby she can reach out for support and advice where necessary for our actors and students. Anna has been given the tools to learn any accent, and is excited to deliver accent training in our classes.
Anna also has plans to do a class in full vocal release and exercises to reach your vocal potential. This is so important for all students when working in stage or screen - vocal health and sustainability.

Our ethos is to provide the highest standard of teaching at affordable prices. Students can choose to follow a guided pathway into third level education, professional theatre/film and television work; or come to enjoy the fun and excitement of learning how to perform and communicate confidently to any size of audience. We know that not every student who attends our classes will want to become an actor or a dancer; but we do know that we can help develop every young person into a confident and self assured individual.
