⭐️🎮 ONLINE SAFETY- FIFA 23 🎮⭐️
With the recent release of FIFA 23, we thought it would be useful to share this guide with our families.
FIFA 23, like its many predecessors, is a massively popular football simulator featuring lifelike recreations of thousands of real-world players, drawn from teams around the globe. While the gameplay is subtly improved year on year, the publisher EA’s focus remains firmly on FIFA Ultimate Team – a mode in the game that can tempt players of all ages to spend actual money on recruiting better players for their side. With each new release of FIFA comes a host of new players to unlock – meaning that youngsters can feel pressured to keep buying to compete with their friends.
In the guide, you'll find tips on a number of potential risks such as age-inappropriate chat, scammers and addiction.
Be on the ball with FIFA ⚽🎮 Does the ever-popular football simulation keep a clean sheet of risks in its latest appearance? This week’s guide has our essential scouting report on FIFA 23 📓👀

⭐️🍁 HARVEST COMPETITION 🍁⭐️
This year we are holding a special harvest school assembly. We have not asked for harvest donations as it is such a tricky time of year in the current climate for so many of our school community.
However to celebrate the autumn season, and national poetry day, we are holding a harvest poetry competition! Details can be seen below and have been posted on google classroom. The entries can be posted on google classroom or written on paper and brought into class. We look forward to reading them all and sharing the winning entries during our school assembly.
Dear Saxon Way families,
It has been confirmed that Monday 19 September, the date of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral, will be a national bank holiday.
All schools will be closed on this day to allow communities to pay their respects to Her Majesty and commemorate Her reign, while marking the final day of the period of national mourning.
Saxon Way Primary School will be closed to all pupils on 19 September and will re-open on Tuesday 20 September.
We are saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and our thoughts are with her family during this time. Our family of schools will be marking her loyal service over the coming weeks as we enter a national period of mourning. Queen Elizabeth II was a much loved and respected sovereign who reigned for 70 years, longer than any other monarch in British history. She has been a constant in everyone’s lives and her service will not be forgotten.
⭐️👑💜 QUEEN ELIZABETH II 💜👑⭐️
Today, we remember our beloved Queen Elizabeth. The longest reigning monarch in our history and a truly inspirational figurehead for our country and the commonwealth.
We understand some pupils may have questions and we will answer them as best we can and support them through this period in history.
We are thinking of our families and the emotions that may be stirred when we have difficult times of loss.
Please let us know if you need support and we will be there for you all.
