This week the Home Economics Department awarded a personalised prize to the top student in each class within Year 8, 9 and 10. This was for either their practical skills or academic ability. It was an incredibly difficult decision to make, as we were so impressed with our KS3 students. Congratulations to all our winners 🎉 We hope you put those wooden spoons to good use!

Today our year 10 pupils visited Stormont Parliament Buildings as part of our Citizenship LLW unit on Politics in Northern Ireland. We were not deterred by the poor weather conditions as we explored the trails on the Stormont estate as well as availing of a fantastic tour of the Assembly Chamber. We were very privileged to meet two of our Upper Bann MLAs and pupils had the opportunity to ask them about their role as our elected representatives. All the year 10 pupils were excellent ambassadors for New-Bridge and a great day was had by all.
