After finding out that I am dyslexic, I trained as a specialist tutor, so that I could help students that struggle with learning in school, like I did.
I have a good understanding and can empathise with dyslexic students. I hold an OCR Certificate for teachers of learners with SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties). As a dyslexic adult myself, I am able to empathise with dyslexic students. I have been teaching dyslexic students for sixteen years and find it very rewarding. I enjoy seeing students' confidence grow, as their learning advances. If you know a person that could do with specialist tuition, or need advice, then send me a message.
