Caitlyn Jenner Opposes Letting Trans* Girls Play School Sports. It’s Her First Campaign Issue.

While she announced her campaign earlier this week, Jenner never got around to telling anyone where she stood on anything - until now.

By Bil Browning Saturday, May 1, 2021 - LGBTQ NATION

Former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner is running to be the next governor of California, but she’s doing it without the support of the LGBTQ community. A Republican, she has found herself at odds with the trans community frequently and it isn’t hard to see why.

While she announced her campaign earlier this week, Jenner never got around to telling anyone where she stood on any issues – until now. She doesn’t think that transgender girls should be able to play school sports.

The IGSA was cofounded by the coordinators of the former GAAI in July 2010, representing LGBTIQ around the world.

#IGSAGlobal The IGSA was co-founded by the co-ordinators of the former Gay Activists Alliance International in July 2010, representing, Africa, the America’s and Caribbean, Asia and Pacific, Europe & the Balkans and the Middle East and North Africa.

JK Rowling Now Thinks She Can Say Who’s a Lesbian & Who’s Not
By Alex Bollinger | LGBTQ Nation
Monday, April 25, 2022

The "Harry Potter" author is spending Lesbian Visibility Week attacking the creator of Lesbian Visibility Week.

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling hasn’t come out as a lesbian, but she is very concerned with deciding who gets to be a lesbian and who doesn’t.

Tweeting this morning about Lesbian Visibility Week in the U.K., Rowling shared an image of Allison Bailey, one of the co-founders of the anti-LGBTQ organization LGB Alliance.

Related: JK Rowling mocked police officers showing LGBTQ solidarity after brutal hate crime

“A good moment to salute the resilience and courage of my inspirational friend,” Rowling wrote with a picture that said that Bailey was marching for LGB (that is, without the T) rights.

Bailey and several other anti-transgender activists created LGB Alliance in 2019 as a protest against transgender equality and the inclusion of transgender people in the LGBTQ community. But while the organization claims to oppose discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, it also has also claimed that it’s not homophobic to oppose marriage equality.

Linda Riley, the publisher of the U.K. queer women magazine DIVA and the creator of Lesbian Visibility Week, knew exactly what Rowling was implying (that anti-trans lesbians are more worthy of respect than lesbians who are accepting of trans people) and called Rowling out.

“Wow! I certainly did not create Lesbian Visibility Week so that people like JK Rowling could use it as a vehicle to stir up more hate within our community,” Riley wrote. “This is a perfect example of how not to be an ally.”

Family Almost Killed Man They Thought Turned Their Son Gay. They Blinded Him Instead

The victim was left for dead, unconscious in a pool of blood. It took him 6 months to get his memory back about what happened, but his sight won't return.

An entire family is facing attempted murder and hate crimes charges for attacking one of their son’s boyfriend and leaving him blind in the brutal beating. Now the motive has been revealed; they believed that he turned their son gay.

Court documents show that investigators believe that Inna Makarenko, 44, Yevhen Makarenko, 43, Vladyslav Makarenko, 25, and Oleh Makarenko, 21, attacked the gay victim – whose identity is not being released – because he was dating Oleh Makarenko.

"I am the biggest threat to your hollow, hateful scheme. Because you can't claim that you are targeting marginalized kids in the name of 'parental rights' if another parent is standing up to say 'no.'"

A Michigan lawmaker blasted a Republican colleague who called her called her a “groomer” who supports “pedophilia.”

“I am the biggest threat to your hollow, hateful scheme,” state Sen. Mallory McMorrow (D) said in a speech that has gone viral. “Because you can’t claim that you are targeting marginalized kids in the name of ‘parental rights’ if another parent is standing up to say ‘no.'”

Man Who Destroyed Rainbow Mural Weeps in Court After Dad Tells Judge He’s a Disappointment

The vandal was ordered to write a 25-page essay about the Pulse shooting.

A Trump-loving vandal who destroyed a rainbow street mural in Florida has been ordered to write a 25-page essay about the 2016 Pulse shooting, but that’s apparently not the worst punishment he faced. His father explained to the court all the reasons he’s disappointed in his son, making him cry.

Last July, Alexander Jerich, 20, of Delray Beach did a “burnout” on top of a rainbow intersection, leaving 15 feet of dark black skid marks on it and causing thousands of dollars of damage. The vandalism was part of Jerich’s celebration of Donald Trump’s birthday, and he flew a Trump flag from his truck when he did it.

Brixton Remembers 17-24-30

17-24-30 is the dates of the three nail bomb attacks, that took place on the 17th, 24th and 30th April 1999.

We think it is important to remember that the Black, Asian and Gay communities were all targeted by the same person, and that we need to work together to tackle racsim and homophobia in society, to prevent these kinds of attacks from happening again.

GOP Candidate Attacks Students in Campaign Ad, Leading to Drive-By Slurs at Their School

Candidate Tim James said that he won't stop attacking the minors and that their parents should pull them out of their LGBTQ-friendly school.

Tim James, a Republican candidate for governor of Alabama, is paying to air a campaign ad showing the faces of LGBTQ students. After the ad started airing, the minors have been targeted by strangers for hate speech.

The ad, called “Genesis,” attacks transgender rights by discussing University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas (who James calls a “man in a woman’s bathing suit) and Justice-designate Ketanji Brown Jackson refusing to define the word “woman.”
