Today the SDSD spotlight is on Jessica.
We are very excited to announce that she has successfully auditioned and been offered a place to study dance at the prestigious Tring Park Upper school and will start this September.
Jessica, We are so proud of you and the constant hard work you have put in to make this happen. A huge SDSD congratulations from all of us. ⭐💙

We are now officially a Lamda training and exam centre!!

⭐Some of our seniors have been busy auditioning for full time dance and performing arts sixth forms and colleges and we will have lots of exciting news to share over the next few weeks.⭐

We can now proudly announce that Emily has been offered a place on the BTEC Level 3 course in Performing Arts-Musical Theatre at Arts 1 and will start in September.
Emily we are so proud of you and the hard work you have put in to achieve this. A big SDSD congratulations from all of us 💙

Results are in from our Modern exams taken last term.
We achieved 100% pass rate with our dancers scoring exceptionally high. We are so incredibly proud of you all 💙

Congratulations to these SDSD superstars who have just completed their run in the Queens Park Arts Centre Pantomime The Wizard of Oz. ⭐
We are so proud of each and every one of them for working so hard all over christmas and showcasing their wonderful talents on the stage. 🎭
We are equally as proud of them for how they conducted themselves backstage and how beautifully they represented SDSD.

SDSD will be performing tomorrow at the QPAC open day, we will be on the stage 1:10 - 1:30pm. Please come along and see what we do. The studio will be open so you can pop in and meet some Teachers and Students, ask any questions and find out about our trial classes. Plus see what else the centre has to offer.

We are saddened by the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Students and staff at SDSD send our sincere condolences to The Royal Family at this time

Meet our new Musical Theatre Teacher.
Monday, Mini 4:00 -5:30, Junior 5:30 -7:00, Senior 7:00 - 8:30.
My name is Miss Charlotte, I have a degree in Performing arts and I have been a Musical Theatre teacher for 8 years. I have also taught lots of styles of dance such as; ballet, tap, modern and street. My favourite is definitely musical theatre because I get to teach, singing dancing and acting all at the same time! Seeing a performance I have helped create come to life is just the best feeling in the world and also seeing the children light up on stage!
I can't wait to get to know all the children and staff and create something magical!

Meet our new Street Teacher - Come and join Miss Fran on a Monday, Junior 4:45 - 5:30, 6 - 10yrs, Seniors 5:30 - 6:15,11yrs+
Fran started dancing from age 3, beginning her journey with Jackie Palmer Stage School and eventually joining their full time academy at age 16. She then went on to graduate from Bird College in 2019 with a First Class Honours Degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Since graduating, Fran has been lucky enough to appear in a world renowned immersive show with Secret Cinema, Guys and Dolls The musical and various commercial jobs. She has worked with choreographers such as David Leighton, Adrian Gas, Gary Lloyd, Matt Flint and Simeon Qsyea. She’s hoping to share her passion with others and inspire the next generation.

Secondly - I spent the evening with some of the amazing parent helpers, friends,family and SDSD teachers watching the show “Favourite Things” I am feeling very happy and super proud tonight xx

Brilliant day today.
Firstly we had our last day of the Musical Theatre workshop, which has been such a blast. We are so lucky to have such kind, lovely, funny students at SDSD. Myself and Miss Rachel have loved spending the last 3 days with them all enjoying everything Encanto x
