Happy Mother's Day for yesterday!! All our ladies and children cannot wait to see some mummy's, nanny's and carers in this morning between 10am and 11am for a coffee and a chat.

The children have been learning about fire fighters and Police this week. The fire service came to visit the children yesterday! There was ALOT of excitement for sure! 🔥 📛 👨‍🚒 🚒

All set up for our Chinese restaurant this morning. Ready for the children to experience Chinese New Year celebrations. Crafts and other activities are all set too!!

Science week....were starting off the week with some tie dying. We can't wait to see how these creations turn out!

All set up and ready to go!!! Some lovely stalls, Santa has already had some visits and the hot dogs smell tasty!! 👌🏼🎅🏽🎄🎁

There will be some fantastic opportunities to add to your Christmas shopping, and you won't have to worry about the postal interruptions currently occurring. You'll find some lovely stalls offering candles, fidget toys, art, books, sweets, cakes, bath bombs etc. We will also have a Christmassy Photoshoot scene set up on stage on the day by MSR Photography. Our Christmas Fayre is free entry, we will also be offering some refreshments whilst you shop (for a small donation). Kids will also have the opportunity to meet the big man himself on Saturday but there are limited tickets available, which can be purchased on entry.

Joining us there are our friends at Steve Rutter Photography, who will be setting up a Christmas Photoshoot so you and your family can take some lovely family portraits and make some fun-filled memories at the same time! 📸 At £20 per shoot, they're sure to make the perfect Christmas keepsake!

Lovely coffee morning with parents this morning

We're in search for an SEN learning support assistant to start with us at Pollyanna Pre-School Stoke Mandeville as soon as possible.

Another full on day yesterday here at Pollyanna Preschool. Post office role play, Jo Jingles and a surprise fire drill which the children did AMAZINGLY! Then a quick 20 minute play at the park!!

Our beautiful shiny new kitchen has FINALLY arrived!!! Thanks to all the fundraising from the summer fayre, we have been able to replace our old kitchen with a more suitable for our children.

We payed our respects today with a visit to St Mary's Church this morning. Laid some flowers and signed the book of condolences. The children were incredibly well behaved as expected.

Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as I whispered that "I know"

I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.

I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.

Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.

I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.

I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.

Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.
