Think you were too old to learn an instrument? Well think again. At Kampala Music School we have flexible musical classes for all ages. Children's programme for ages 3-5 years, daily and holiday music lessons for students and after work sundown music lessons for the parents and working class.

Are you, or someone you know, a wind instruments teacher up for an adventure? If so, FKMS want to hear from you! We are looking for someone to spend 3-6 months teaching our students and teachers in Uganda. Volunteer position but with flights, accommodation and living allowance/ local wage in return.

Rachel Ellis, the fabulous UK-based violinist and teacher, has arrived back in Uganda to volunteer at Kampala Music School until summer. She is carrying out professional development for KMS teachers, performing in fundraising concerts, and starting chamber groups - exciting times! FKMS is proud to support and help fund projects and specialist volunteers such as these. Please continue to support us :-)
