Come and join us for a free trial in any class! At JSDA we offer performance opportunities, extra training, or just a hobby where you can make friends and have fun! We are an exam free school, focusing more on student development rather than limiting them to a syllabus. We believe dance is about expression and enjoyment!

Our Aston Clinton branch is now on Winter Break

A huge well done and thank you to all of our students, parents and supporters of the school this term!

We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and look forward to seeing you all refreshed in the New Year!

Well, we’ve reached the end of the first term which means we have House Points Winners!

We have three individual winners; a Senior, an Inter and a Junior, and we’re amazed by their dedication, hard work and support this term!

The Junior Student came third overall and won her points by always turning up to class with immaculate hair and uniform, no jewellery, correct footwear and always on time! She has also shared a lot of our social media posts, which is one of the best ways to earn those points! She is one of our most positive and charming students, engaging with the staff and students and always with a smile! She has worked so hard since being with JSDA, and that is shown in the excellent development she has made.

The Inter Student, who won first place has over achieved with earning house points, creating a dance diary to share with friends and family on social media including re-posting our stories and grid posts, along with what is happening in the studio each week and more. She is always punctual, entering the studio ready to dance, encouraging and supporting all of the other students and complimenting and congratulating others on their achievements - whether they have just got the correct rhythm in tap or did a double pirouette.

The Senior Student came second and is so deserving of this placing. As well the correct uniform etc, she works tirelessly hard, and is a huge supporter of the school on social media, regularly sharing our posts and encouraging her peers to trial the school. She pushes herself every week to learn new skills and constantly steps outside her comfort zone. She interacts with all the students in all classes and takes the time to get know everyone.

A huge congratulations to our House Point Winners!

Next week at JSDA, it’s BRING A FRIEND WEEK!!! For any of our students, bring as many of your friends as you like to any (or all!) of your classes! And yes Performers, that incudes you!! It’s completely free for your friends, but we do ask that all students who bring friends make a donation of their choice to our show fundraiser, by either being cash to class or through our go fund me page. We will be working on choreo in each class to give all your friends a taster of what it’s like at JSDA!

Week 5 of our Student Spotlights, and this week it’s our 2024 show soloists!!

We are so grateful for our supporters, but did you know there is more to just liking our posts to support us! We don't just post to get likes, we do it to show how proud we are of our students, and also to encourage other students to join!

Week 4 of our Student Spotlight ⭐️ hands up who else is loving these?! Because we are!!

We set our students a challenge over half term to practice their stretching and they certainly smashed it!! So great to see them continuing their training outside the studio, and understanding the importance of strength and flexibility

Week 2 of our Student Spotlight! We are LOVING putting together these showreels for the students and seeing their progression and talent! So proud of you all!
