We are inviting children to wear an item of red in addition to their full school uniform β so they could wear red socks / a red belt /
something red in their hair (they will not be allowed to wear caps / hats in school but these are fine for the yard) , a red nose / a badge etc.
Please do not send your child in a red item (such as a T-shirt or hoodie) which replaces their uniform, or allow your child to dye their hair.
We will be having a bucket collection on the gate in the morning where we hope that children will donate as much as they wish.
Have a wonderful half term and we look forward to welcoming the pupils back on Monday 28th February (blue week).

Briggs Equipment have once again been generous enough to support our school by giving up their time to help us to develop this wellbeing space. Last week they came out to lay a patio area for the benefit of our students. It looks amazing, we are thrilled with the results. Pupils and staff would like to thank the team - Steve Rowlands, Bryn Fox, David Jewell, Andy Langley, Stuart Chambers & Gareth Rose - for all their hard work!

Christ Church Academy recently welcomed Staffordshire University, Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) and 13 employers and training providers to our inaugural Y8 Careers Event. Pupils took part in a 'speed dating' style event, learning about each employer/provider, the range of careers available within the different companies, the routes into employment and the skills and qualities employers are looking for. Feedback from both pupils and the providers has been overwhelmingly positive and we can't wait to run the event next year!

Good luck to five of our singers, Maria, Sophia, Megan, Hettie and Ruth. They will be competing in the Staffordshire Young Musician final on Saturday!π΅

Half of Y5 have had a great day out at Wolseley Bridge with staff from the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.
The budding nature rangers have had a fantastic time learning about the different animals that live on Cannock Chase and how to care for the environment.
Due to the weather, unfortunately KS3 sports afternoon is cancelled.

It's finally the day - Stone Rocks is here!! Will you be joining us to enjoy the music, fun and stalls? Let's hope the rain stays away!

Yesterday, two teams of Y8 represented the school at the National Careers Challenge Finals at the ICC in Birmingham. They were a credit to both themselves and the school. Well done!

All the children were fantastic representatives and had an amazing day! LEGO

Today is the big day as Year 7s tackle Snowdon! β°π
A last night campfire with singing, memories and marshmallows is planned for tonight!

Year 7 had a fantastic day yesterday exploring the rock pools at Penmon Point and studying the marine invertebrate life they found there. They also went into the wilds of Cwm Idwal to create dramatic pieces that describe the process of glacial valley creation.
Today they are visiting Criccieth and Black Rock Sands to look at sea defenses and longshore drift. They will take part in a βplastic pickβ across the beach and, of course, no visit to the beach would be complete without some sand sculpting and fun in the caves and shallow pools of Black Rock!

After an evening spent around the campfire, Year 7s started the day with a good breakfast in Wales. They are visiting Penmon Point in Anglesey this morning and Cwm Idwal this afternoon. The sun is shining and itβs set to be a beautiful day!
