BMET’s Story

The Burnhead Moss Education & Training (BMET) was set up as a charitable fund to help residents living within the Community Council boundaries of Avonbridge, Standburn, Slamannan, Limerigg and Blackridge.

The total fund of £26,000 per year is available to anyone living in the area, aged 16 years or over, to support local people with vocational education and training opportunities in the local area.

In June 2018, an Outreach Worker was employed to help locals to gain access to the fund and encourage the community to utilise the funding more effectively. Weekly drop in sessions are held in each of the areas. Check the page regularly for updates on upcoming events/sessions. Appointments can be made by calling 07923400570 or getting in touch via the page (@BMETFUND). Alternatively drop us an email: [email protected]
