[08/20/21]   Big thank you to all who came to classes last night and this morning! It was so good to be back.

My ladies who lifted! I hope the muscles aren’t too sore today or tomorrow 🤪. First time doing something like that, you will likely have some stiff muscles. But just keep moving and it will help ease things off!

To fight club - no easing back in gently! What a fun and sweaty class!

Rest up and looking forward to meeting more of you next week. FYI, there are only a couple slots left for Tuesday night.

And remember best option for price is the 10 class pass which you can use at any class.

For this coming along to our new weights class tonight or Tuesday, read on…

What to bring with you… All you need is yourself and some water. All your equipments - weights, mats, dumbbells will be provided. I would recommend a notepad and pen so you can write down your weight ranges as this will help you from week to week so you can progress your weight ranges as you get stronger!

The class runs from 7-8pm and I’m the fitness suite. I am already at the centre from about 6:30pm, so please feel free to come in early to discuss any medical conditions or issues that you feel important that I should know or that you want to work around. If you are lifting for the first time in a long time, or just first time ever and want to chat about weights, then please also come in earlier than 7pm so we can set you up properly!

For Friday Fight Club - we’re now in the fitness suite so we’ll see you there tomorrow morning! Remember water!

And a wee reminder to all - please wear your face mask when moving around the building, remember to sanitise your hands at the beginning and end of class. This will help us keep the centre, and the community as Covid safe as possible.

Oh it's been quick (read long) summer with the kids. 🥴 But, good news! We're bringing classes back to the The Dunblane Centre and with a twist to our schedule and classes. 🏋🏻‍♀️🥊

Classes return on the 19th August and we are now trialling a Tuesday and a Thursday night "Women who lift" weights class as well as bringing back our popular Friday Fight Club.

For our women who lift weights class, think learning to lift weights properly and appropriately (we're a stickler for safety) as well as a fast paced, music led workout session. We're super excited about this new class.

And Friday Fight club makes a return and, AND, we might start to have a little actual contact in the future too.

Booking classes can be done via our website at www.eosfitness.co.uk/book and we've said goodbye to the clunky gym catch system to a slicker system built into our website. It does mean creating accounts again, but it should be more straightforward to book. There is an booking app to come, but right now, it should be easy enough to use the website.

Easiest way is to create an account first (use the top right log in icon on www.eosfitness.co.uk), then head over to the 'book' page and work from there. (If you have session on our old system, then create and account and let us know when you have done that. We'll then manually add your left over sessions from there).

All classes will still be ran in line with Covid-19 safety protocols and guidelines so please be confident that our priority is still keeping everyone as safe as we can.

[06/24/21]   Hi all. Friday fight club class is ON tomorrow. Yay!

I’m still a little under the weather (my midweek optimism was misplaced 🤨) and coughing away but let’s get the last class of “term” ticked off the to do list.

As I posted the other day, I had a negative Covid test so I can confidently put class on without too much risk, but I will also stay masked up for class and I’ll just be doing a lighter version of the exercises to reduce risk.

If anyone who is already booked in doesn’t feel comfortable with attending, let me know and I can refund the session. Otherwise, if you haven’t yet, get signed up by using the book now button up top!

[06/22/21]   Hi everyone,

Delighted to say that, as suspected my Covid test came back negative. I am however still feeling really drained, bunged up, sore and I'm still coughing a whole lot. Watch this space for info for upcoming classes and sessions.

Good Morning Guys

I have developed a cough and a sore throat over the weekend. Now I don’t think it’s a Covid cough due to the nature of it, but I also need to exercise caution to protect you guys and the centre. As such I’ll be cancelling this mornings class (I don’t have much of a voice either) and have booked in for a test later on this morning.

All being well, classes will return on Wednesday.

[06/20/21]   Hi Team. A few things to note…

This coming week will be our last week of classes for the summer.

Leading onto the next point that here hasn’t been enough interest for classes to continue over the summer period. Summer is always a tricky one with holidays and kids running about so I’ve taken the tough decision to pause classes whilst the school holidays are in full swing.

I hope to be back for the new school term, maybe sooner?! All passes will carry over but if anybody has a pass that still has sessions on and you don’t want to keep them in the ‘bank’, please let me know.

[06/15/21]   Two things…

First of all…would anybody be interested in a weights class? We’re talking a bit of proper Olympic lifts like deadlifts, cleans, snatch’s, presses, flys etc etc but with awesome tunes and in the style of our usual classes. Yay or nah? Drop your comments below if you think this sounds fun 😃

If necessary, I could always offer a pre-class training course - how to lift, weight ranges, breathing, technique, limits etc too. Let me know your thoughts!

[06/04/21]   Friday again?! The weeks are flying in. We are all tired and ready for the summer holidays (even if it means no jetting off somewhere sunny) and busy.

Numbers have been pretty quiet these past few weeks and I'd love to welcome you back to class. So if you haven't been to class for a while, this is your sign to sign up to a spot!

And on a wee personal note if I can be a little indulgent... I've tried hard to build up attendance and grow the number of people who are part of Team EOS but nothing seems to be doing much in the way of generating bodies. Throw in Covid and it has been a tough old year. Those of you who regularly share my posts - massive thank you. Any support is more than appreciated. I won't be able to sustain these numbers for much longer so I'd really appreciate any like, share, word of mouth that you can throw my way.

If there is any feedback on classes then please do share as well. I think and hope that my classes are fun and challenging but maybe there is something missing from them. Let me know!

[05/25/21]   Hello everybody!

A few things to cover in this post...

Firstly, I want to thank you to everyone who has come back to classes or tried our classes m for the first time these past 6 weeks. It’s been great teaching and seeing you all again as well as seeing life return to the Dunblane Centre.

Secondly, I am trying to figure out schedules going forward over the coming allegedly summer 🌦☔️ months.

Under normal circumstances, I’d run a skeleton schedule as usually we’re all off jet setting to sunnier climates. But I don’t know what this summer is going to look like as travel is still a bit dodge but we’re also all sick of the sight of our four walls.

So in terms of who would attend classes, who is jetting off to... Blackpool 🤷🏻‍♀️, who isn’t going anywhere but isn’t interested in coming to classes over the summer as the kids are kicking about, I need your input. I would like to keep classes going. But I need your help to do so.

Attendance has been all over the place for various reasons since we have returned and I can only run classes at a low attendance levels for so long. And the summer months are always a bit quieter than usual.

This is a very long winded way of me to say that if you’d like to see classes going ahead for the summer, please let me know, in the comments, what classes you think you’d attend, how often, or when you were maybe planning a wee staycation etc. Really any information that could help shape our class schedule.

[05/17/21]   We are now back inside at the Dunblane Centre for classes so it seems like a good time to remind you of the entrance/exit plans to keep us Covid safe!

Our classes are taking place in the function room so please head around the side of the centre and enter the garden to come into the function room. You’d come to the same spot as if we were doing outside classes. Exit through the same way.

Masks should be worn in common areas, although for us coming in through the garden area, we should be ok.

You can bring your own equipment - mat/bands/weights etc but we do have spare kit if you don’t anything to hand or forget to bring stuff 🤪.

Classes must be booked in advance and via our booking system to allow us to be Covid compliant and to have details from track and trace.
