We are saddened at the loss of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. We offer our deepest sympathy to the Queen and all members of the Royal Family.

He was the founder of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme which has transformed the lives of millions of young people over the years. We will continue to support our young people involved in the award to develop their skills, confidence and resilience and continue his legacy.

Pupils should check EduLink for the work to complete tomorrow and should follow their usual timetable. Teams lessons will resume on Monday for those pupils yet to return.

All you need to do is take a photograph of you reading in an unusual place. Send the image, author and title of the book to [email protected]

It could be of you reading whilst: playing a game, jumping on the trampoline, cooking, walking the dogs. Anything goes. If you can use Photoshop, you could edit yourself into a photograph. The opportunities are endless.

The competition will run from Monday, 1st March to Monday, 8th March.
