Over the Easter holidays why not pop along to see the amazing art trail that we have been part of this year.

Wow it was so amazing to see such a range of characters and costumes today, from Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, to our very own super bunny 🐰 😍 the buzz for books and reading today has been quite infectious 😊

Dear Parents and Carers,

Clymping School will be closed to pupils on Friday 18th February. This decision has been made for the safety of all as a result of the forecast dangers from storm Eunice. The MET office has issued an Amber warning with forecast high winds (up to 70mph gusts) across the day, as well as the flood warning in place for Clymping as a result of storm Eunice.

Amber warning means:

There is a good chance that flying debris could result in a danger to life Damage to buildings and homes is likely, with roofs blown off and power lines brought downIt is likely there will be falling branches and some uprooted trees

The safety of the children and the whole school community was our priority in reaching this decisions, and our coastal and rural location contributed to the raised risk.

Online safety is something that we are very serious about here at St Mary's and with technology rapidly changing, we understand it is very tricky keeping up-to-date with all of the latest risks, trends and information.

🎋Sharing Celebration Tree 🎋
Please encourage your children to write a message of gratitude, love or pride; hang the on the tree and it may be shared and celebrated in a Valentine Assembly on Monday 14th.
The tree and tags will be at the front of school Tuesday to Friday this week.

We currently have spaces for new starters for September 2023.
If you know anybody that would like a small, nurturing school, set in beautiful grounds then please share this page and get in touch.
We offer a small class of only 15 children for the first year of schooling. With this small number, children are given quality time for them to progress and flourish.
We can provide daily breakfast club, weekly forest school sessions, sporting opportunities, an extensive range of after school clubs, a new outdoor area and much more.
Visits to our school are warmly welcome, please contact the school office to arrange.

Wow what a night! Our first Arts Celebration was such a success! A huge thank you for all those who came to help us celebrate our amazing children- it was lovely seeing so many faces. My particular favourite experiences last night were, our fantastic children who performed beautiful musical interludes in school, it was an absolute joy hearing and seeing you rock. And also, the Charlotte Reader dance group- wow!😍 We can't wait for the next one.

A huge thank you to everyone who has come and supported our school Christmas fair. I think it is safe to say it has been a great success.

Lastly, on behalf of all the staff, governors and children a huge thank you to all those who have donated a prize, their time, their creativity or just being in attendance today. Request from Mrs Booker,
For our team craft day on Wednesday, my group will be using fabrics to construct a scene from the Christmas story. Please can you send into school any spare pieces of fabric (any fabric type) in the following colours that you may have at home?
Grey, blue, brown, yellow, green, cream, black and white.
The fabrics can be patterned or plain as long as they are predominantly one of these colours.
Please bring them into school and hand them to me.

In light of the Queen's passing, we want to focus on her extraordinary life she had and how to support our young children with understanding this. Please find attached a guide to the life of Queen Elizabeth, and additionally tips on supporting children who are dealing with grief, Her Majesty's passing could trigger someone else who has experienced the death of a loved one. We hope this guides are helpful. Please speak to us if you have any concerns.
