Our thoughts and prayers are with our esteemed colleague Tracey and the McNamee family on the sad passing of a much loved husband, father and grandfather RIP Seamus. Remembering them and all those in our school community who have recently lost loved members of their family at this time. May God strengthen and comfort all in their time of need 🙏

Our P6/7 children have been very busy with sports this week!

First our P7 girls travelled to the Ulster Indoor Camogie tournament, along with an enthusiastic bus of supporters🥳! The girls were fantastic in displaying a range of skills and reached the semifinal!

Well done girls!😁

Next P6 & P7 took to the pitch for the second round of the Malachy McGeeney Cup!⚽️🏆 Well done to the boys and girls for their excellent display of teamwork, resilience and determination!

Best of Luck to our P6/7 boys who progress to the semifinal next week!😃👍🏼

Primary 5 Get Active With Mental Maths
Our P.5 pupils have been working on strengthening their mental maths skills while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine by playing some fun and interactive mental maths games on our playground Snakes and Ladders board! Pupils worked together to find multiples of given numbers, challenge each other with quick fire multiplication and test their ability to halve and double numbers with speed and accuracy. They also practiced their times tables by passing a ball to each other.

Through the magic of reading the children were able to explore a variety of books to create their own stories, book covers and characters!📖🤩

As part of our rainforest topic, we explored how clouds form and why rain is so important for these vibrant ecosystems. watching our mini clouds create ‘rain’ helped us understand the water cycle in action- just like in the Amazon Rainforest.
