[06/08/19] We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and caring part-time member of staff to join our thriving childcare setting and our existing team, in providing early years children with the learning opportunities and education that they will remember for years to come. We pride ourselves in working with parents to ensure every child in our care is provided with the personalised attention they deserve. Opportunities to work in our after school and Forest School provisions may also be available to give individuals a variety within the childcare sector. Childcare qualifications are desirable. Please get in touch if you would like more information. We look forward to hearing from you.
[02/22/19] We finished a busy half term off with a visit to the beautiful Welford Park to take in the beauty of snowdrop woods. The children particularly enjoyed finding interesting things to explore and throwing sticks into the river from the many bridges we crossed. We have made our own lunches on our campfire during our new forest school sessions here at the setting. We cooked sausages one day and pitta pizzas another. Of course both lunches were finished with s'mores. The children are extremely responsible around the campfire and their experiences at Wolf Pack Forest School has given them valuable knowledge and skills in order to keep themselves safe. You can hear them telling each other how to kneel safely or not to touch the water in the fire bucket. 'It's for putting the fire out.' It's truly amazing. We visited Marwell earlier in the week and were so lucky to see the snow leopards up close. The children brought in their favourite books. We shared them at snack time, in small groups, on an individual basis and some of the older children read their books to them. We had traditional fairy tales, unicorn books, picture books and Julia Donaldson favourites. We continue to refine our environments on our journey to become a Curiosity Approach Accredited setting. It really has been and continues to be an enjoyable and enlightening experience for us. We hope our families feel it is enhancing their children learning opportunities.

[04/17/18] We crammed SO much into our 5 days of the Easter holiday and all had an amazing time. We went to Mudeford Beach on Monday, enjoying emptying and filling our buckets of sand and water, jumping the waves, catching crabs and jumping in puddles along the promenade as the weather was less than fair! Following a cooked breakfast on Tuesday, we made muffins before dancing the rest of the day away with an interpretation of Cats the musical. We made our own cat masks. Thanks to Wolf Pack on Wednesday, we all had a ball at the woods, making wooden cookie keyrings, s'mores on the campfire, exploring and playing in the mud kitchen and hammocks. The older children went to a beading workshop and made dragonflies, spiders and bracelets before coming back to dye eggs with Kay using vegetables to create the dyes on Thursday and we welcomed Jiggy's for a holiday music and dance session. Finally, we relaxed a little more at the sensory room followed by lunch at the café on Friday and an afternoon in the garden. With some nice weather on the way, we can't wait to spend more and more time in our outdoor environments.
