Open Circuit SCUBA diving is the most widely taken diver certification in the world.

PURPOSE OF THE COURSE

This highly sort after and quality course is designed to train you, with no diving experience, in the safe use of SCUBA (Air only) diving with no decompression, to a maximum depth of 20 metres/66 feet.

NOTE: Persons new to diving - this Level provides you with a world wide recognised diver certification to be able to dive Open Circuit in a safe and concise way.

This programme is broken into two sections:

FIRST SECTION - THEORY

This is the theory or academic section, which any person may take and complete, followed, without obligation, the Practical Section which is the session where you can learn, with your Instructor, the underwater skills necessary for this level of training and complete your certification.

SECOND SECTION - PRACTICAL TRAINING

Diver certification E or C-card

PREREQUISITES for the Practical Training

To be able to swim comfortably to complete a 200 metre swim without stopping or touching side or bottom. And a 10 minute float keeping your head above the water at all times.
To be a minimum of 15 years old (with written guardian consent up to the age of 18 yrs).

WHY LEARN TO SCUBA WITH RAID

RAID has the most comprehensive online platform in the world incorporating a unique quality assurance system that helps ensure more consistent quality outcomes.

Secondly we teach to a higher standard compared to many other organisations, like most other training companies we comply to minimum standards as outlined by ISO but to truly ensure better quality and more confident divers we have a much stronger emphasis on core skills, especially buoyancy control. TRY OPEN CIRCUIT DIVING

Your Introduction into the World Underwater Experience you will never forget!
The Try Open Circuit Dive Experience will open the door to breathing underwater and sense exhilaration!
Here, you will meet other people who share your interest for unending, exciting adventures.

PURPOSE OF THE DIVE

This introduction is designed to exhibit the technology and ease of Open Circuit diving, in a pool or in confined water environment with pool like conditions.

PREREQUISITES

Be able to swim comfortably.
Be a minimum of 12 years old (adult consent needed if under the age of 18 years, or other age depending on the laws of the country you train in).

INSTRUCTION

To be conducted by a renewed Instructor and/or Level 4 Dive Master.

COURSE CONTENT

Academic presentation and quick quiz.
Confined water - underwater skills on open circuit scuba.

IN WATER EXPERIENCE

Your introduction will be in a low-stress environment. After determining you have basic swimming skills, your instructor or Level 4 Dive Master will demonstrate the required skills for you to swim underwater, whilst breathing on open circuit scuba.

CERTIFICATION

This is NOT a certification programme. However, you can start your Level 1 certification programme.
You may register for FREE on-line and purchase one or more dive courses, (Level 1 and Level 2), plus you may be inline for our Bonus course!
With a Bonus course you may start directly after you have finished the course you purchased and only need to pay for it before certification!
