Ash parents -

A bike has gone missing from Churchview between the hours of yesterday evening and this afternoon. We aren’t sure exactly what time but it was taken from the side of the house without permission and now can’t be found. If anyone has seen it or knows who took it, please get in touch. We just need it back!
Just been down the alleyway and the side gate is open!
Gemma would like to do a rainbow picture to bring into school. Would this be ok to do on our daily walk?

Our ethos and vision is that the children, in all that they do, will embody these qualities: We Care, We Learn, We Shine. Primary school with Nursery and Preschool in Ash, Surrey, England.

The children have asked for snack to be back so we are bringing it back from Monday 13th Sept. There will not be specific days for specific snacks, the children select from the majority of the collection each day (except Popcorn which stays on Fridays). You can put money into your child's snack account through SCOPAY and then your child chooses their snack at breaktime.

I know that many families will be up late on Sunday night watching a special football match. I do not want children missing Monday or coming in tired and grumpy so for Monday 12th July only, children can come in to school at two different times - 8.45am or 10.30am. Sadly, staff cannot come in late, so watch out for matchstick supported eyes on adults

The children are loving their new school menu and we are seeing lots of clean plates. Thank you for your support as we make this change to our catering.

Just a gentle reminder that parents need to continue to book 2 weeks in advance for all school meals. You will need to have booked for the week beginning 4th May by the end of tomorrow, Thursday 22nd April. You can book meals as far in advance as you want (providing there is credit on your account or your child is entitled to free school meals).

We recommend using the Scopay App on your mobile phone as it is so easy to use. Download from the App Store or Google Play -

Our Story

Our ethos is that the children, in all that they do, will embody these qualities:

We Care about every child and foster this caring attitude in all that we do. We teach children to care about themselves, others in school and those in the wider world.

We Learn. We want every child to achieve their potential, ensuring all have embedded the key skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening and maths when they leave primary school. Based on the Early Learning Goals and National Curriculum for Primary Schools learning is enriched through special events, visits and visitors. We believe passionately in educating the “whole child”, broadening children’s interests and developing skills so that they can excel, love learning and make ambitious choices for their lifelong learning and future.

We Shine. We want children to shine, every child is unique and we nurture this to allow them to shine and enjoy each day of school so that they live rich and full lives. We celebrate and recognise when children have made personal, class and school achievements. We expect children to take on responsibilities and have many special opportunities. We are proud to support events and organisations in our community and the world.
