The Maternity Services Liaison Committee (MSLC)
We want to hear from you!
The Maternity Services Liaison Committee (MSLC) is a group where you can meet with other mothers and fathers, midwives, managers and doctors who work together to i...mprove maternity care.
This is a place where you have a voice. Your opinion is important and we do listen.
What does the MSLC do?
The MSLC listens to the experiences of women and their partners and uses their stories to shape maternity services. For example, lots of women who gave birth at the Royal Gwent Hospital told us they would have liked to have used a birth pool during labour or to give birth, but the hospital didn't have one. As a result, a pool has recently opened on ward B5 and women can now use the birth pool if they want to.
Want to get involved? contact us by email at [email protected] or you can send us a private message.
