*Nocturia*

Nocturia means that urination at night is a symptom of heart failure, not of the bladder.
Dr. Bansal, the famous doctor of Shivpuri, explains that nocturia is actually a symptom of blockage in the blood flow to the heart and brain. Adults and elderly people suffer the most because they have to get up frequently at night to urinate. Elders shy away from drinking water before going to bed at night for fear of disturbing sleep. They think that if you drink water, you will have to get up again and again to urinate. What they don't know is that not drinking water before bed or after urinating at night is an important cause of frequent early morning heart attacks or strokes in adults and elderly people. In fact, nocturia means frequent urination is not a problem of bladder dysfunction. This is due to decreased heart function in the elderly with age, as the heart is no longer able to suck blood from the lower part of the body.
In such a situation, during the day when we are in a standing position, the flow of blood is more downwards. If the heart is weak, the amount of blood in the heart becomes insufficient and the pressure on the lower part of the body increases. That is why adults and elderly people get swelling in the lower part of the body during the day. When they lie down at night the lower part of the body gets relief from the pressure and thus a lot of water gets stored in the tissues. This water comes back into the blood. If there is too much water, the kidneys have to work harder to separate the water and push it out of the bladder. This is one of the main causes of nocturia.
So it usually takes about three or four hours between when you lie down to sleep and the first time you go to the toilet. After that, when the amount of water in the blood starts increasing again, after three hours one has to go to the toilet again.
Now the question arises that why is it an important cause of brain stroke or heart attack?
The answer is that after urinating two or three times, there is very little water in the blood. The body's water is also reduced by breathing. This causes the blood to become thick and sticky and the heart rate slows down during sleep. Due to the thick blood and slow blood flow, the narrowed blood vessel gets blocked easily...
This is the reason why adults and elderly people are always found to have a heart attack or paralysis around 5-6 in the morning. In this condition they die in sleep itself.
The first thing to tell everyone is that nocturia is not a malfunction of the bladder, it is a problem of aging.
Another thing to tell everyone is that you should drink lukewarm water before going to bed, and again after getting up to urinate at night.
Do not be afraid of nocturia. Drink plenty of water, because not drinking water can kill you.
The third thing is that to increase the efficiency of the heart, you should do more exercise in a normal time. The human body is not a machine that will deteriorate if it is overused, on the contrary, the more it is used, the stronger it will be. Do not eat unhealthy food, especially high starch and fried foods.
I request you to share this article with your adult and elderly friends.
Very important for senior citizens.
Here's an interesting and informative article by Dr.Bansal, on what's all about the health issue.. *Nocturia*.

As this is specifically meant for senior citizens, miss not to read. And send to people who may need it.🤝❤️👏🌹🙏🏻

Why Should I Get Involved in Missions? 6 Reasons You Should Consider
POSTED ON MARCH 17, 2022 BY DISCIPLE MAKERS INCREASE
Why Missions? It is an important question for every believer, everyone who is a Christ-follower. Unfortunately, it is a question that often does not get asked. Missions comes with certain sacrifices and challenges. We need to know why we are doing what we do.

The purpose of this article is to discuss the reasons why you and I and every other Christ-follower should be involved in missions. Let’s look at some of those reasons.

1. Because there is no other name:

The religious leadership of their day confronted Peter and John when they were proclaiming Christ. Peter emphasized in his response, that there is no other name under heaven by which people must be saved (Acts 4:12).

In John 14:6, Jesus clearly says that it is only through him that people can have access to the Father. Several other scriptures emphasize this same truth.

If there is only one name, only one Person – Jesus – who is able to provide eternal hope to human beings, then that is enough of a reason for us to join in God’s mission.

Why Missions
There is no other name through which we can be saved.
2. Because many have not heard:

Even after 2000 years of the gospel, many geographical regions and ethnic communities have little or no access to its message. That’s remarkable!

The apostle Paul shares the burden of his heart when he asked in Romans 10:14-15a: “But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent?”

According to Joshua Project, about 3.27 billion people in the world (or about 41% of the world’s total population) are unreached.

For various reasons, they have little or no exposure at all to the beautiful message that Jesus died and rose again to save them. This heart-breaking reality is another profound reason why we should all do our part. We must enable the unreached to hear and have an opportunity to respond.

3. Because lostness is a real thing:

The Bible is clear that people who do not know Jesus are spiritually lost and separated from God.

If this weren’t true, there would have been no need for Jesus to die on the cross on behalf of people’s sin. Sadly, 2000 years after Jesus went all the way to the cross to open the door of salvation, billions have no idea of what he has done for them.

They remain clueless in their lostness. It is very possible that they will spend the rest of their lives on earth without an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.

It is also possible that our obedience to Get involved in efforts to reach the unreached will create opportunities for many of them to hear. They will respond and be beautifully saved.

4. Because we want to obey:

Before Jesus ascended to heaven, he commissioned his disciples. He called all who followed him from that time on, to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20).

His commission included a command to go to all people groups, baptize those who believe, and teach them to obey all his commands.

This commission clearly reveals God’s love for people, irrespective of language, culture, or geography. It also reveals his purpose to invite all to become authentic followers of Jesus. For those of us who know Jesus and love him, we know that we show our love for Him through obedience (John 14:15). To be involved in missions, whether through going, sending, or other ways, is an act of loving obedience to Jesus.

5. Because we are called to both follow and fish:

When Jesus first called Peter and Andrew to be his disciples, he didn’t only ask them to follow him. He also said that he would make them fishers of men, of other people.

Oftentimes, the fishing part is not emphasized in discipleship. We are given the impression that it is more like an option. But following Jesus also means being intentional about inviting others to follow him.

Of course, not everyone is called to leave their jobs, their home, or their town to fish for people. Right where we are, in our own communities, towns, and places of employment, we are surrounded by people from other cultures and faiths. There are lost people who do not Jesus. What a joy to partner with God in welcoming such people into a relationship with Him!

We are called to follow and fish!
6. Because we are passionate about the nations worshipping Jesus:

One of the most beautiful things to witness is people of other cultures worshipping the Lord.

I was recently asked to share with an online group of 100 Hindu-background believers from north India. Seeing and hearing them sing songs of worship unto Jesus in Hindi moved me deeply. It brought tears to my eyes.

Scripture tells us that a beautiful day is coming. People representing all nations, tribes, languages, and lands will join together to worship the Lamb of God (Revelation 7:9-10).

Weak as I am, I am personally motivated to keep doing my part in reaching the unreached. I want to see Jesus glorified by all people! How about you?

These six reasons are not exhaustive. There are other reasons that should move us to personal involvement in missions.

I am sure the more we read and explore Scripture, the more we will discover why God wants us to join him in what he is doing in the nations.

Even as we do that, I am persuaded that LOVE is the greatest reason. Paul says that it is the love of Christ that compelled him to do what he was doing (2 Corinthians 5:14).

Christ’s love in him enabled him to go out of his way, at great personal cost, to take the gospel to those who hadn’t heard. What a great example to follow!

SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF THE EAGLE

PRINCIPLE 1
Eagles fly alone at high altitude and not with sparrows or other small birds. No other bird can get to the height of the eagle. Stay away from sparrows and ravens. Eagles fly with Eagles

PRINCIPLE 2
Eagles have strong vision. They have the ability to focus on something up to five kilometers away. When an eagle sites his prey, he narrows his focus on it and set out to get it. No matter the obstacles, the eagle will not move his focus from the prey until he grabs it.

Have a vision and remain focused no matter what the obstacle and you will succeed.

PRINCIPLE 3
Eagles do not eat dead things. They feed only on fresh prey. Vultures eat dead animals, but eagles will not.

Be careful with what you feed your eyes and ears with, especially in movies and on TV. Steer clear of outdated and old information. Always do your research well.

PRINCIPLE 4
Eagles love the storm. When clouds gather, the eagles get excited. The eagle uses the storm’s wind to lift it higher. Once it finds the wind of the storm, the eagles uses the raging storm to lift him above the clouds. This gives the eagle an opportunity to glide and rest its wings. In the meantime, all the other birds hide in the leaves and branches of the trees.

We can use the storms of life to rise to greater heights. Achievers relish challenges and use them profitably.

PRINCIPLE 5
The Eagle tests before it trusts. When a female eagle meets a male and they want to mate, she flies down to earth with the male pursuing her and she picks a twig. She flies back into the air with the male pursuing her.

Once she has reached a height high enough for her, she lets the twig fall to the ground and watches it as it falls. The male chases after the twig. The faster it falls, the faster he chases it. He has to catch it before it falls to the ground. He then brings it back to the female eagle.

The female eagle grabs the twig and flies to a higher altitude and then drops the twig for the male to chase. This goes on for hours, with the height increasing until the female eagle is assured that the male eagle has mastered the art of catching the twig which shows commitment. Then and only then, will she allow him to mate with her.

Whether in private life or in business, one should test commitment of people intended for partnership.

PRINCIPLE 6
When ready to lay eggs, the female and male eagle identify a place very high on a cliff where no predators can reach. The male flies to earth and picks thorns and lays them on the crevice of the cliff, then flies to earth again to collect twigs which he lays in the intended nest. He flies back to earth and picks thorns laying them on top of the twigs. He flies back to earth and picks soft grass to cover the thorns. When this first layering is complete the male eagle runs back to earth and picks more thorns, lays them on the nest; runs back to get grass it on top of the thorns, then plucks his feathers to complete the nest. The thorns on the outside of the nest protect it from possible intruders. Both male and female eagles participate in raising the eagle family. She lays the eggs and protects them; he builds the nest and hunts. During the time of training the young ones to fly, the mother eagle throws the eaglets out of the nest. Because they are scared, they jump into the nest again.

Next, she throws them out and then takes off the soft layers of the nest, leaving the thorns bare When the scared eaglets again jump into the nest, they are pricked by thorns. Shrieking and bleeding they jump out again this time wondering why the mother and father who love them so much are torturing them. Next, mother eagle pushes them off the cliff into the air. As they shriek in fear, father eagle flies out and catches them up on his back before they fall and brings them back to the cliff. This goes on for sometime until they start flapping their wings. They get excited at this new found knowledge that they can fly.

The preparation of the nest teaches us to prepare for changes; The preparation for the family teaches us that active participation of both partners leads to success; The being pricked by the thorns tells us that sometimes being too comfortable where we are may result into our not experiencing life, not progressing and not learning at all. The thorns of life come to teach us that we need to grow, get out of the nest and live on. We may not know it but the seemingly comfortable and safe haven may have thorns.

The people who love us do not let us languish in sloth but push us hard to grow and prosper. Even in their seemingly bad actions they have good intentions for us.

PRINCIPLE 7
When an Eagle grows old, his feathers become weak and cannot take him as fast as he should. When he feels weak and about to die, he retires to a place far away in the rocks. While there, he plucks out every feather on his body until he is completely bare. He stays in this hiding place until he has grown new feathers, then he can come out

Learn to keep your plans to yourself. Build in silence and let your results announce you in public.
