Sunshine beaming golden heat
For lots of fun outdoors;
Vacations, for a sweet retreat
To mountains, plains and shores.
Kids in constant summer motion,
Free from teacher's rule,
Head to toe in suntan lotion,
At the beach or pool.
Inflatable rafts on which to float,
Camping and fishing gear,
Rowing or sailing or waterski boat,
Tell us summer's here.
Things we can't do the rest of the year
Are summer's special treasures;
Oh summer, summer, linger long,
And give us all your pleasures!

Growing up is hard to do. The challenges that a child must deal with throughout the life cycle are overwhelming. Children must deal with physical, emotional and psychological changes as they grow. There is no manual for growing up. In western society there are so many options given to children that they often feel confused and lost. We are not doing our children a favor if we do not provide guidance to them. Parents are there to help children navigate this confusing world. Let us not shirk in our duties.

Living Abroad
Everybody says wow! you are settled abroad.
How can i explain, its real real hard!
Agreed that my life has changed,
Great is my job that keeps me engaged!
Other than that there is nothing to boost,
Everyday goes fighting loneliness ghost!

Death of a grandmother
Child birth of a little brother
Engagement of a sister
Marriage of a cousin
everything is just another phone call to me.
Years have gone but i do not know how,
Home to me is no where now.
I am alien here, I am alien there,
Do i belong? I do not know where!

Life to me is food without salt,
sometimes i cry as emotions can not halt!
Great are the comforts, everything here
but how i wish my people near!
Life is strange, for something sake
give up something,It is give and take!

If only I knew how's it going to be
If only when I try to fix things, they became better
If only I was certain of how others feel
And if only people believed what I say...

If I knew how to show what I really felt
If I knew how to make people understand
If I knew how to make them believe
If I knew how to make them happy

If making people happy doesn't leave me sad
If making them understand doesn't make me an ignorant
If making them believe doesn't make me a liar
And if letting them know how I feel doesn't leave me numb

Things would've never reached that point
I know I would be in a much happier place
No one would ever blame me for not caring
No one would blame me for not thinking

That's life ....You're never certain

You're not going to live that dream of yours
And life would never be "trouble free"

You have to live with what you have
You try to fix the broken glass
You try to collect the shattered pieces
You make the best of everyday
