Our Beginner’s Chinese Language Courses for Kids aged 6-15 will start in 2 weeks!
1. Introduction to Chinese Language A1.1 (age 6-10)
Time: 09.10.2021-18.12.2021 Saturdays at 10:00-11:00 ( the last lesson will finish at 11:15)
2. Introduction to Chinese Language A1.1 (age 11-15)
Time: 09.10.2021-18.12.2021 Saturdays at 11:30-12:30 ( the last lesson will finish at 12:45)
Our teachers are experienced native speakers. In our class, very few other languages will be used, other than Chinese. We had very good results after practicing this method with our young learners. For the first 15 a.c.hours, young learners will have a chance to get to know what the Chinese language is about. We start with Pinyin system, topics will cover Me, My family, friends, my country and my hobbies. About 40-50 characters will be introduced too.
3. Chinese Language A1.2 for different ages
Time: 09.10.2021-18.12.2021 Saturdays at 14:00-15:00 ( the last lesson will finish at 15:15)
This group is aimed at those who have had some basic knowledge of Chinese language, but haven’t reached A2 level yet. By the end of the course, students suppose to reach HSK 1 level.

This camp of five days’ intensive Chinese classes is aiming at improving kids’ oral Chinese and experiencing different cultural activities, such as calligraphy, Chinese paper cutting of characters, snack making or tea-ceremony for kids. Each day, bedsides the regular language learning, there is a chance to communicate with Chinese kid/s while fulfilling their task from the class. All the cultural activities will be instructed in Chinese. The registration will end at 23:59 of August 8th.

2017/2018 CHINESE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP OPEN FOR APPLICATION
The 2017/2018 Chinese Government Scholarship is now open for application. Online application and the corresponding application documents should be submitted to the Chinese Embassy in Estonia (Narva mnt. 98, Tallinn, 15009 Estonia) no later than April 1, 2017. For more information, please refer to http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina.
To be eligible, applicants must:
be a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China, and be in good health;
be a high school graduate under the age of 25 when applying for undergraduate programs;
be a bachelor's degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master's programs;
be a master's degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs;
be under the age of 45 and have completed at least two years of undergraduate study when applying for general scholar programs;
be a master's degree holder or an associate professor (or above) under the age of 50 when applying for senior scholar programs.
Application Documents (in duplicate):
Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship(in Chinese or English)b) Notarized highest diploma (photocopy): Prospective diploma winners must submit official proof of student status by their current school. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
Academic transcripts: Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
A Study Plan or Research Proposal in Chinese or English. (A minimum of 200 words for undergraduates, 500 words for non-degree students, and 800 words for postgraduates.)
Recommendation letters: Applicants for graduate programs or senior scholar programs must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors.
Applicants for music studies are requested to submit a CD of their own works. Applicants for fine arts programs must submit a CD of their own works which include two sketches, two color paintings and two other works.
Applicants under the age of 18 should submit the valid documents of their legal guardians in China.
Applicants planning to stay in China for more than 6 months must submit a photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English (the original copy should be kept by the applicant. The form designed by the Chinese quarantine authority can be downloaded from http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina. The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take physical examination as the result is valid for only 6 months.
Applicants with Admission Letter from designated universities should enclose the
letter in the application package.
Applicants with valid HSK Certificate should enclose it in the application package.

Hiina teekultuur ja filosoofia / Konfutsiuse Instituut / Tallinna Ülikool
There are several tea friends have asked about the coming tea course in Tallinn University. I share the registration link here. It will be an introductory course for beginners. Students will learn the history of Chinese tea culture, the classification and tea drinking custom, as well as how to brew a cup of tea correctly and the philosophy behind the tea.Deadline for registration is by Fe 06, next Monday. After long preparation, finally we have launched in Hiina Kultuuri Klubi our tea events series Monthly Tea Talk and Gatherings, with the arrival of this year's first fresh teas.
Each month, you will have different opportunities to learn six major categories of Chinese tea, and the difference of several varieties of the same tea. You will get tips on how to brew and drink it. For hands-on workshop, you will be divided into groups and have a whole set of tea wares and tools to practice the tea art performances step by step.
