USAG Ansbach EFMP is your one stop for community resources.
(EFMP) is a mandatory enrollment program that works with other military and civilian agencies to provide comprehensive and coordinated community support, housing, educational, medical, and personnel services to Families with special needs. Active duty Soldiers are enrolled in the program when they have a Family Member with a physical, emotional, developmental, or intellectual condition requiring specialized services. Enrollment ensures their needs can be considered and maintained throughout the military personnel assignment process.
Mission: The mission of EFMP is to educate and support the community. The purpose of the screening is to ensure Soldiers with special needs Family Members are assigned to locations where care and resources are available. The EFMP Manager acts as an advocate on behalf of Families to ensure accommodations are being provided in compliance with federal regulations. The Special Needs Accommodation Process (SNAP) is one such example of advoacting on behalf of parents to ensure agencies in the community clearly understand specific accommodations your child may need. Please contact your local ACS EFMP by calling: 09802-83-2883

November is Military Family Month! We celebrate our military families!
"Through the thickest of fights and the darkest of nights, our extraordinary military families -- our heroes on the home front -- stand alongside our patriots in uniform, and in their example we see the very best of our country's spirit. This month, let us thank them for their tremendous devotion to duty and for their unyielding sacrifice. Let us honor their resolve and patriotism and uphold our solemn responsibility to ensure the priorities of our Nation reflect the priorities of our military families." - President Barack Obama
