CONGRATULATIONS To Maddi!
My fabulous student, Maddi, has successfully auditioned at Patrick School of the Arts (Melbourne), for entry into Yr 9 in The Academy, for commencement in 2022.
I am very proud of the amazing performer Maddi has become, after training so very hard for so many years, and I look forward to seeing more of this hard work pay off over the next few years.
Good luck Maddi xx

CONGRATULATIONS A L E X 🎉

It’s off to Patrick School of the Arts in Melbourne for Alex Hasler! Straight out of high school, Alex will commence the Tertiary Music Theatre course in 2022.

Alex, we’ve loved working with you over the past 2 years and seeing you smash your MT & songwriting goals. Huge congrats on this news, we can’t wait to see your journey continue!
👏🏻✈️☆
This morning there was a BIG announcement. The Swinburne Site in Prahran is getting purchased by the State Government to ensure that it can be a high-quality creative and education precinct.

That might not sound particularly exciting at first glance, but this huge site just off High St and Chapel Street represents a significant and powerful opportunity to breathe more culture, economic development and youthful buzz to the Chapel St Precinct. The site includes NICA (the circus school), Todd Patrick School of Performing Arts, Prahran High, Gymnastics Victoria, a glass making school, a couple of performance theatres and Melbourne Polytechnic. All these neighbours who have obvious synergies in performance, drama, dance, singing, costume design, makeup… knew the potential of the campus to be an incredible hub for creative arts in Prahran… but did not have the security of knowing that that future could happen.

But now they can.

My head is already buzzing about how amazing the site could be – potentially with more green open spaces, more places to see incredible performances from talented artists, a bigger Prahran High, outdoor performance spaces, more day time reasons to visit Chapel St, more family friendly weekend activities, more young people who are studying, working and living locally….Its exciting to ponder!

There are some amazing people who I have been talking with all year about the potential of the site who have worked incredibly hard to make this happen. In particular Nina Taylor MP and Todd Patrick (from the Patrick School of the Arts) – Thank you so much for your hard work in making this happen!
