Grade 10 Personal Project Exhibition

On Friday, January 31st, Grade 10 students invited the ASOY community to attend the Personal Project Exhibition.

The Personal Project is a student-driven initiative that takes place in the final year of the Middle Years Programme (MYP). Students select a topic to explore, learning new skills and gaining knowledge while creating a product or outcome. This project allows them to showcase and enhance their approaches to learning (ATL skills). As the capstone of the MYP, the Personal Project is a wonderful way to celebrate a student's educational journey.

The Exhibition gave Grade 10 students the chance to present the final product or outcome of their project, which they had been working on since the start of the year. It was a day filled with positive energy and hard work. Elementary and secondary students, along with staff and parents, came to explore the Grade 10 projects. It was a pleasure to witness the curiosity of the younger students and to see the dedication that all of Grade 10 had put into their work. Without a doubt, it was a successful and rewarding experience for everyone involved.

This week we celebrated the International Day of the Child with a field trip. The Women’s Empowerment and DEIJ Club were invited to visit the Autism School at the Centre National de Réhabilitation des Personnes Handicapées. The club members enjoyed playing games and interacting with the children. Our goal is to help educate society and eradicate misinformation about autism. Thank you to the people at AFIEETA.org for organizing this.
