Good morning dear students, dear alumni of the Accredited Students Of The English Department.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The present bureau of ASED, under the leadership of TABOH Clinton, is looking up to establishing a firm and collaborative relationship with all former Presidents, leaders, and students (the Alumni) of this prestigious Department, or rather poised to renew such a relationship.

It is on this backdrop that Mr TABOH Clinton, in total unanimity with his bureau members, entreat that the Alumni(former students, leaders and presidents) who are in and out of Cameroon, drop their WhatsApp contacts which will facilitate bringing them together in a single platform for eventual communion.

We are well aware, and we cannot give a blind eye to the crystal clear fact that you all, in your respective ways contributed to what ASED is today; we know you all that came before us, planted the good seed, and that's why we see good fruits in this Association so far.

All former Presidents, leaders and students, it is a total privilege for us to get to know you all, and work with you for the success of ASED.

Your ideas and opinions, as to what concerns our PLAN OF ACTION, are inevitably needed: all this will be made possible if we all can gather into a single platform.

On this note, we will be waiting to make you fully part of ASED again. Please don't forget to leave your contacts and name below; and why not help inform any other friend from your batch that ASED needs you once and forever in its affairs.

A certainty and certitude in mind as to what one really wants to become, or do, paves a wider vision and path, and guarantees success in a manner somewhat inevitable.

There are two major questions that one has always heard; these questions prick the mind so much and throw one into a time of cogitation.

ASED will be organising a study seminar early March dubbed EFFECTIVE STUDIES and EXCELLENCE.

This seminar will involve all the students of the English Department of the University of Yaounde 1: professors at home and abroad will be coming with their diverse experiences to have tête-à-tête sessions with us. This program is engined by Senior Prof Veyu, in close collaboration with ASED.
