Diversity in Brewing · As many of us continue our conversations and undertakings to bring diverse voices and bodies into the craft beer world, our friends , in cooperation with the Brewing program , have taken a huge step forward with the Diversity in Brewing scholarship for BIPOC and LGBTQ2S+ people.

Removing systemic barriers, like access to education, is a critical step towards a craft beer scene that is more representative of our communities. The fund is supported by local breweries and will be awarded to students whose creativity and passion for craft beer has gone underrepresented.

GET INVOLVED - The Diversity in Brewing scholarship is still in its infancy and needs support. Breweries in the community can help with a modest annual $200 donation to the fund. Craft beer fans can help by sharing posts and letting others know that this fund exists. There’s a lot to love about the craft beer scene, and giving more people the chance to be a part of it only makes the scene richer.
